Lizard Grill

I frequently visit the lazy lizard and enjoy it very much. all the food is excellent and prepared fresh daily. i am not sure what the other person was talking about, as this resteraunt doesnt even serve enchiladas nor do they serve iceberg lettuce. they make great pizzas and calzones as well as sandwhiches and salads. The do however have plastic silverware but who cares. the service is fast and friendly ensuring my return. The 12 beers on tap also keeps me happy as well as the friendly regulars. i am not sure how the other person thought of it as a sports bar because there are only two tvs in the building that are rarely on. instead there are local bands that play on weekends. This restaurant is really more of a sports bar with tables. There is a large horseshoe shaped bar in the middle of the room, with tables around the perimeter. The Food seems like an afterthought however. We ordered a dinner salad and an enchilada. The first turn off was the plastic table ware. The second was the food quality, which was pretty mediocre. Everything tasted like it was prepackaged and heated before being served. The salads were basically a pile of iceberg lettuce with dressing. Yuck. The service was friendly and when we commented about the bland nature of the food and the plastic dinnerware, the server was apologetic. This seems like a good place to go for a beer and a sandwich - forget dinner. Pros: A good place for beer and a sandwich, Sports bar atmosphere, good service Cons: Medicore food with Sports bar atmosphere more
