I showed up in my little silver Toyota Tacoma half ton pickup on Friday morning 4/16.
The receptionist lady was very short with me, but I disregarded that.
I purchased a full yard of their compost soil for my flower beds at my new home. I paid about $25.
When I got the soil, the guy driving the tractor put a HALF yard of dirt in my truck. When I asked him if that was it, he waved me off and said yes.
He must have thought I didn't know what an HONEST yard of dirt looked like in the back of my little Toyota Tacoma truck.
I'm sure lots of folks don't, but I DO KNOW WHAT A YARD OF DIRT LOOKS LIKE IN THE BACK OF MY LITTLE TOYOTA TACOMA TRUCK.
They lost a customer and got a bad review here on CitySearch for cheating me out of roughly $12.50 worth of dirt. I call that stupidity and a certain insanity on the part of the Living Earth in Richmond folks.
Where I'm from we have a saying about cheatin' folks like the ones at Living Earth in Richmond.
""Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.""
I wasn't fooled, but I'll never buy dirt or anything else again from Living Earth in Richmond.
And, everybody I know that buys dirt or anything else that Living Earth of Richmond sells will NEVER buy anything there again either.
Cheers.
