I?m not going to say much about Little & Young, but if you want to see them go down then I suggest keeping an eye on these two cases in the N.C. Court of Appeals. Meek v. Little & Young, Inc., Docket Number COA 09-1541; and Little & Young, Inc. v. Meek, Docket Number COA 09-1542. These actions involve the Implied Warranty of Habitability, Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices, and Retaliatory Eviction.
Little & Young is also a defendant in an action in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of N.C., Meek v. Dep?t of the Army, et al., Docket Number 5:09 cv 422-D. The allegations against Little & Young in that action involve violation of the N.C. Debt Collection Practices Act, the Federal Debt Collection Practices Act, Mail and/or Wire Fraud, and violation of the Racketeering Influenced Corrupt Organizations Act.
If you haven?t guessed, I?m the guy named Meek in all three of those actions. I?m deploying to Afghanistan in January 2010, and I want it to be known that if anything happens to my family while I?m gone (such as the incident when someone stuck a gun in my wife?s face to freak her out the night before one of the trials), then when I get back, if Little & Young thought I was a pain now, they haven?t seen nothin? yet.
Pros: If you're a slumloard, this company is for you!
Cons: Doesn't care about the properties, or the customers $$$
