Ah! Little Poland. The name rings out clear as a bellpepper stufffed with a hearty meat concoction, which I hope is just beef (though I know deep down contains pork ((I don't eat pork)). I used to read, work, hangout here a lot. The french fries have always been my favorite, for years, since my first visit circa 2002. Crisp, oily, hearty. No holds barred. The perrogies are a favorite of mine, mixing in a set of potato and cheese, and always boiled though fried is an option. I love the goulash. I love the nova omelette. I love the service, nice older women who smile so bright with any attempt at a Polish phrase. And then every once in a while, a younger Polish server, and I'm not trying to be sexist, but what can I write? It all adds to the ambiance. Good Lord, I'm soooo lonely....but basically, this is a Polish-based diner with really hearty fair and fairly traditional food. I suppose its as Polish as Chinese food is Chinese?but it is delicious and the value is dynamite if you get a dinner and it comes with two vege sides. Man. Good times.
Pros: great food, value, service.
Cons: Its a diner. If you don't like charming diners this isn't for you.
