An excellent byob venue that offers a complete Moroccan experience. A treat to the eyes and palate for the food is authentic and the decor is straight forward north African. A treat to the ear too with music Moroccan and international tunes. Ah! almost forgot the highlight of the place; belly dancers to ensure you are no longer in a strip mall in Pennsylvania. The deal is great too as you feast like a king and get to BYOB for a very reasonable price. \r This is my new spot! Little Marakesh rocks the casbah! 5 stars. more

Had a wonderful family dinner there. Great food, great atmosphere.Staff appeared to enjoy there work and take a real interest in the food they were serving, After ordering The Sultan feast , the server brought a brass pitcher and ewer to the table for a traditional hand washing. Warm rose water, fragrant with infused jasmine, was poured over our hands to clean them for use while eating.We were treated like a cross between royalty and favourite relatives !!\r The food was freshly cooked, full of flavour and divine !!! great Moroccan Chef came out to talk to us a few times throughout the night , appeared to have only one goal - to do everything they could to make our night unforgettable .\r To say that you will get your money's worth is surely an understatement. The weekend ""Sultan"" feast is a seven-course of authentic delights, for only $31.95. with being a BYO and offering live entertainment, you truly get a lot for your money\r Will definitely go there again. This Moroccan BYOB is conveniently located next door to a liquor store where we picked up our booze. My party and I were greeted by a warm smiling young lady who ushered us to our Moroccan bazaar section. The place s decor is authentic with gold and red tapestries, brass top tables, Moroccan lamps dimmed for the mood and berber carpets. we could smell the aroma of couscous and kabobs as our server explained a seven course meal we were to feast on. The birthday girl is vegetarian and we were concerned. NO worries! said our server and started by the hand washing ceremony.\r Rose blossomed water prepared our hands and we began with an a rray of salads centered by Humus, my favorite. Perhaps my favorite dish was the appetizer, Bastila or bastilla, not sure of the pronunciation; it was an amazing combination of sweet and savory. The coursed kept coming as we drank and danced the night away with a mesmorising Belly dancer, who made sure the birthday girl danced over and over again. I have been here before but i must say there have been some positive changes in everything including the food which stood out even more this time around. The chicken tagine was soooo yummy served with olives and pita. the lamb kabobs were to die for, and the home made baklava concluded a culinary experience i am to cherish for a long time.\r \r Bravo to little marrakech! spectacular indeed! more

We love this place! Fun atmosphere and terrific service. Food was delicious and plentiful. The Sultan Feast is the ticket here featuring Bastila, kebobs and baklava; we were served like we would be at a Moroccan home ceremonial style as Belly dancers set the mood in this casbah like restaurant. I ve heard so much about this place and finally my wife and friends took me there. At least last night (Friday), the restaurant turns into a hookah lounge around 10pm. Then, they serve a la carte dinner. We ordered a Fruit Cocktail Hookah and chillaxed with our BYOB selection. Terry, the owner was our server as his brother helped out with our drinks and many requests. The belly dancer was gracious and tasteful. she even invited some of us to perform.\r I highly recommend Little Marrakesh to groups or couples for it offers exotic and unique experience with belly dancers and Moroccan delicacies that include plenty for the vegetarian. My only complaint is that the belly dancer left early and that the place doesn t serve alcohol.\r more

Words only won't do this place justice. Little Marakesh is a cultural experience with excellent tajines and couscous, belly dancers, and good/family service. One thing I did not like was the fact that the place is not decorated authentically. The decore is a blend of nouveau and traditional, and that I am not crazy about.\r Also, I was not crazy about their live band.\r \r One more thing, from reading a review below I gather it is a bogus review. In other words, becareful of competition writing their own reviews to draw people form this restaurant that has enjoyed excellent reviews from different publications. Have been there twice now and the food is horrible. I went the second time for a friend's birthday and did not want to order the Sultan's Feast because I am a vegetarian. I was ridiculed in front of the 10 person party to say that I had to order the food and that it was unfair to the others not to order the feast. I explained to ""the boss"" that I would not order the food because I am a vegetarian (besides the fact that it is incredibly over priced for food that tastes terrible). The first course came 30 minutes later (family style), by this time everyone was starving. My friend forced me to eat a pita (because you are NOT allowed to order off the a la carte menu) because I wasn't eating. The second I had ONE pita ""the boss"" came over and screamed at me in front of the whole place. I completely understand that he has to make his money....but to yell at me for one pita was ridiculous!!! I told him I would pay for the Feast but that I would only be able to eat one or ... horrible. Was there with my family and enjoyed our ""sultan feast"". Many of our friends had recommended this place so we made the reservation for a Saturday night. When we entered, we were so surprised at the authentic moroccan decor and beautiful brass top tables! the host was very informative (although we have experience we moroccan dining) and polite and seemed to really care about us. They serve traditional moroccan style or family style where there was one platter in front of us for each of the multiple courses. It was fun and enjoyable!! The servers were very nice and helpful as they explained course after course. We really loved the home made hummus, bastilla, and the chicken tagine!! The belly dancer was very entertaining and danced multiple times during our feast. It's BYOB and they don't charge a cork fee which is nice too! At the end we ordered a hookah which we've had before. There were many flavors to choose and we went with one of their custom blends and it was an very nice way to finish our feast with this relaxing hookah. They even have a bazzar were you can purchase moroccan gifts. I actually bought a little vase and the lady there was very sweet and said she and her husband (and his family, and yes they are moroccan i found out) opened the restaurant eleven years ago! What a wonderful ""authentic"" moroccan restaurant in Dresher. Can't wait to go back but next time we will bring a bigger group to enjoy the fun!! more

We went to Little Marakesh to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. There were eight of us so we decided to order the ""feast"" which costs $27 per person and were so glad we did. The food exceeded our expectations and there was a ton of it, the service was excellent and to top it all, the belly dancer who entertained us was absolutely wonderful. Enchanting, because upon entry your troubles are checked at the door. Food is amazingly tasty and creative...North African flavors dominate the menu. What a wonderful, pleasant experience. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the food and made excellent suggestions. The Moroccan Tajine that she suggested was sweet and delicious. There were 3 of us and we had 3 different entrees and all were huge, so we shared. The restaurant was a bit crowded, so we waited to be seated especially that we had no reservastions. It is beautifully decorated, had wonderful music playing in the background and the belly dancers were awesome. I must add as well that it was very clean. Can't wait to go back. i wanted to surprise my girlfriend with exotic food and ambiance but instead, i surprised myself. This is a true diamond in the rough restaurant, rich with cultural experience. Besides the decore, a theater size screen projects pictures form north africa and movies such as casablanca and Lawrence of arabia. The screen is turned off when belly dancers come out. We ordered the royal/sultan feast (they have a vegetarian version also) and it was absolutly to die for. After a hand washing ceremony (rose water), we were presented with a variety of salads and a sweet dish called bastilas, which has to be my favorite; Filo dough filled with sweet chicken and topped with sugar and cinnamon. I was stuffed by the main course (chicken tagine) but the couscous and kebobs were so good that i had to make room. hot tea and baklova were served for desserts. The service was warm and friendly, much like a family taking care of you. After all, it was a family of brothers and a mom taking care of us. The only draw back is that the place became very crowded after 7pm and the service slowed down a bit as a result. In summary, Little Marrakesh is an excellent choice for a unique experience. The ambiance in this restaurant is worth writing home about. Candle lit tables and Moroccan goos covering the walls and an entire bazaar area. The music did it for me here not to mention the straight forward moroccan dishes, one after the other. Starting with the famous humus and ending with hot tea. everything in betqween is superb especially the chicken tajine. Belly dancers were there to ensure a complete maghrebin experience. One thing I regret is not being prepared for this place did not offer wine. Though a liquor store is only steps away in the same plaza, we got there late n we had to do without spirits. We will definitely return and with north african beer/wine soon. I highly recommend this place especially for large groups though it could be intimate for a couple also. Attended a birthday dinner here a few weeks ago - there were about 10 of us. The decor is fab - you'd think you stepped in to Marrakesh! We were seated promptly. We ordered the feast - a little expensive, but you get a lot for the price. The bastil was fantastic. There we had 2 belly dancers and Both were great - I even got up to dance! Well, rose petals covered the carpet leading to the restaurant door. More rose petals were scattered all over the restaurant including on top of our table. Combine tealight candles, many moroccan lamps, a red rose on our brass table, delicious aromas from dishes nearby on other tables and middleeastern tunes and there you have it, a night from 1001 nights. Our hostess, who turned out to be our entertainer also, explained to us what to expect, a complete Moroccan feast. Starting with a rose water hand washing ceremony and ending with sweet mint tea and baklova. Everything in between was delicious and entertaining to more than what my husband and I expected. I lived in Morocco for two years, I used to do Businness with the Moroccan Gov. However, I was really atracted by that north African paradize. The inspiration of the oriental culture mixed with a slite of the western traits that made that country a real paradize. One of the things that I was missing when I got back to the states, is Moroccan cuisine. So I decided to go to the Little Marrakech Moroccan restaurant. The servise was excelent, the food was fresh and delicious and the entertainment was performed by a talented and beatifull danser. Looking at some ratings about the restaurant I found out that some of the people didn't like some things while dining at the restaurant. However, I would stronly suggest making those comments straight to the management of the restaurant, that will be beneficial for both costumer and the service at the place. I blame myself partly for having come here 3 times. I came in the summer and the place was dead except for the staff or random people hanging out to smoke. I came in the Fall and it was alittle more crowded and the last time we came it was very crowded but it was with a bunch of young high school or college kids there for the smoke. Fine if you want a high school hang out but most positively not fine if you are looking for authentic dinning. The food my gosh the food. Where to begin - it was not warm much less hot it tasted old and reheated and the couscous was so dry we didn't finish it. The wait staff was friendly but some seemed clueless and I found it odd how the waitres ate a part of my food I had discarded on her way back to the kitchen. I have been there 3 times and seen the same dancer everytime. Again if you advertise authentic it should be authentic not modernized gothic dancing which was fine but not authentic like they say. The dancer was friendly despite the rude gestures she was getting from the teens. I guess no other dancers will work with the teenagers rude comments. I wouldn't have bothered to write a review as it is not my style to do so if it were not for the hords of rude teens - they ruin the entire dinner and pack in after 9 to smoke all over people trying to eat.
