The BEST Preschool! My son is so happy here! Very organized, Structured, Professional, friendly, and very beautiful. My child comes home with a daily sheet every day communicating how his day was; which i love! The Director is very sweet and very professional. She is always their to answer any questions we have regarding the facilty, and hosts assessments which show my sons improvements while hes their. I couldnt be happier. He learns Spanish, Sign language, and is learning to write and they even send me pictures to my cell ( how awesome is that). I feel that one of the things that separates this school from the rest is that the minute you walk through the door, you actually get this ""I care about your child vibe"", safe, nuturing... what more can i ask for. This school has also been on radio stations and the news for being recognized as one of san diegos TRUSTED PRESCHOOLS! \r \r I have no idea who Jen or M.I.A are but you got the wrong place. Ive never even heard of you guys and im a very involoved parents whos been attending for over two years.... more

THE WORST! \r Please enroll anywhere else. This young lady does not know what she is soing with little children. The building and website itself is nice enough, but don't let this fool you. My daughter, Lucy who was an infant when we enrolled was left in her seat and had preschool children mixed in. They said they had to do that because they didn/t have enough staff early in the morning. I asked why they only had a few infants in the class? Answer was around here lot's of people don't use infant care, they stay home with their babies. I'm a 1st grade teacher and this is just not true. I never post any reviews, but feel so strongly about how bad this one is. Please go anywhere else! They have a few good schools that take infants around Encinitas or Carlsbad. We found a great one up the street and I have heard from a few other parents that they ran away too. I think the other reviews are from the owner herself. more

My daughter started going here when she turned 2 years old and I'm so thankful for it. She was there for 3 years until she started Kindergarten this year. I just had a parent teacher conference w/my daughters teacher yesterday. The told me she is advance for a Kindergarten student. She is reading on her own and at an advance first grade level and has to start reading chapter books to keep up with her reading level. She knows all the shapes (sphere, cylinder) that most kids don't know. She is able to count by 5 and 10's. None of this could of happen if it was not for the school and the teachers there. Thank you!!! They make sure that kids are ready for Kindergarten and teach them how to have social skills.\r \r The school is close to the freeway and all doors have locks on them. They work with you in regards to your payments and tuition. The tuition is great because it includes breakfast and lunch (most preschools make you bring your own). The teachers are very caring. The accept school kids when there school is on any type of breaks and picks kids up as well (had to use for my 8 year old so helpful w/work). Every time I went there all the kids were laughing and having fun. My daughter hated to go on family vacation because she was going to miss her teachers and friend (on on trip I had to by a gift for each teacher). \r \r I would recommend this school for any parents that have to work or just need a break once in a while. more

A home away from home for your child 4/13/2011

We looked at about a dozen childcare centers before selecting one for our twins, and Little Kingdom Day Care stood out as soon as we walked through the door. The caretakers are extremely cheerful and positive people and are always in a good mood. Our girls look forward to going to the daycare in the morning, every day. The neatness of this facility is superior and meets all my standards. The food is excellent, delicious, and healthy and their menu includes good proportions of veggies, fruits and milk. We get regular reports and hence we are always aware of the development of our daughters. They have very stimulating games and activities which work towards the overall development of a child. They make every child feel special with their individual attention, warmth and care. We are so happy with Little Kingdom Day Care and more importantly it’s a second home for our twins. more
