The Buffet is an excellent spread of all the favorites like Chicken Tikka Masala , Saag Tandoori Chicken , Eggplant bhurta , etc. They have just added Tawa Vegetables , which are Fresh Vegetables cooked on a Skillet. The desserts are very soothing & a must have. Nan is served hot & fresh at the table. more

Best Indian Lunch on the Peninsula 12/15/2005

Little India is hidden away on Main Street in Redwood City. It has a big array of excellent hot Indian food and usually all you can eat of exotic fruit like mangoes. The phrinee dessert, which is a rice-flour custard, is to die for. All of this is all you can hold. I usually go away over-stuffed.. more

Award Winnning Chef 7/12/2005

Having received many awards and accolades, the chef definitely knows what's cooking! This is a great restaurant in a relatively new and expanded location right downtown in Redwood City. It tends to be busy, but in a good way! If you like Indian food, and who doesn't? This is a great place to visit on the peninsula. It's got all the favorites (award-winning buffet for lunch and dinner), and a wonderful vegetarian selection. Open for lunch, and then dinner. more
