I was a little surprised when we got to little havana Restaurant. First, we couldn't find the entrance. Second, what they called "ample" parking was one small lot, crammed full with cars. We ended up parking down the street and walking a pretty good distance to the restaurant.
We hit the happy hour crowd would were happily drinking away in the outside seating. We decided we could skip that hoopla to be seated earlier. Even though the inside was much less crowded it was still quite bar like and LOUD. Ordered drinks (margarita was STRONG) and an appetizer (crab dip in a bread bowl which didn't seem all that Cuban to me!). Although the food teetered on the edge of pub fare, it was actually quite nice when it came. I was pleasantly surprised and even though my dinner (chili releno) came with plaintain chips instead of the mentioned side (which i can't remember), I couldn't be too upset- they were DELICIOUS.
Overall, this is a fun place-- especially once you know what to expect! I would certainly go back now that I know what it is... and I might try it on a Sunday morning when they supposedly offer a brunch.
