Great job 3/24/2014

I took my car in for an oil change and they had it done before expected. When mine was done we asked about my daughters car and they said sure no problem. We expected they'd have it overnight since we had no appointment and it was 1:00 but they called by 4 and it was done. The staff were friendly and helpful. They got us in and out as quickly as possible. Great job. more

I was a bit apprehensive at first considering the fact that there was only one individual available to help anyone when I walked in. Although the gentleman at the counter (Josh) was polite and time efficient so after a moment I felt much better. He was able to get my paperwork done and even updated my information in what must have been under three minutes. I recommend everyone try out their service department. more

Totally Positive Environment 3/21/2014

Until now, I have never enjoyed taking a vehicle in for servicing of any kind. Lithia has changed that and I find the dealership friendly, helpful and positive. Not only would I recommend this business to a friend but I HAVE recommended it to many friends. more

continual transmission issue 2/26/2014

For one year, I have wanted my transmission dealt with. I have been told to leave my car there for two weeks in July, which I could not and when had for three weeks, couldn't duplicate issue. I have changed the transmission fluid last Feb of 20 13, was told in July 2013, leave for two weeks and "the computer says" and in Feb 2014, which Lithia had it for 3 weeks, couldn't duplicate again, when I have had my car since it had 19 miles on it, I know my car best. However I was informed, "drop $1000 for 60 month fix everything", which no one bothered to call me about in the three weeks. Service advisor stated, "I told him to call", which I heard about when picking my car up. I am getting to the point of saying take this car back. Fix it!!! more

Still Great Service 1/6/2014

I drive a minivan, and have for over 20 years. I stopped driving Chrysler/Dodge vans for one reason, the service dept at the local Chrysler/Dodge dealership before a second Chrysler/Dodge dealership opened in our area. By that time I owned a Pontiac Montana, which GM stopped making. Kia Sedona/Hyundai Entourage was my next choice, and I purchased my rig new from Lithia Hyundai, Anchorage. The service dept at this dealership has been very good at handling my service issues, and kerping up with regular maintenance. My only concern was a $2,000+ charge to replace the driver's seat when it broke at the connection to the seat base. It didn't happen...I found a replacement used seat in Georgia, purchased it, and ANC Lithia Hyundai did the replacement work. more

It is their exemplary efforts that keep me coming back and purchasing a total of 5 cars and twice as many references to the Hyundai dealer of Anchorage. more

Don't trust the courtesy checks! 12/18/2013

The valve gaskets on my Santa Fe' were leaking oil for some time but this was never noted on the courtesy checks. Eventually, the alternator was coated and quit working, sucking the energy from my battery. Consequence: massive breakdown. I was told by the service manager that even if the courtesy check says no leaks, they are not responsible if there are leaks. more

Bulb replacement for headlight 12/17/2013

Way too expensive ($30 for a bulb and $30 to install). BUT...Josh at the service counter was extremely helpful and accommodating. Excellent customer service from him in a very busy situation, working alone. more

Great service 12/6/2013

Had an oil change and routine maintenance, was fast, nice area to sit and wait was provided with TV and coffee. They even put air in the tires and the seat and mirrors were in the same position as when I brought it in...no need to have to re-adjust before driving off!!!! more

Okay experience. To be expected... 12/3/2013

We needed to purchase a midsize SUV and drove up 5 hours to stay all weekend and shop for one. We shopped at dealerships all over town, and online, as well as at the local car rental places for nice, low mileage used vehicles. At Lithia, we had a pretty typical "car salesman" experience. It could've been worse…but it sure wasn't "great." Our original salesperson decided at some point that she was sick of dealing with our indecisiveness, so she passed us along to another salesperson so she could work a better deal with someone else. The person to whom we were passed seemed easy-going and pleasant until it was 7:30 pm, and he morphed into the typical pushy, manipulative, relentless, and annoying car salesman. Luckily, my husband won't stand for it, however, I can tell this salesman has been able to strong-arm a lot of people. He wasn't particularly helpful to us, since we knew what the car was really worth, and we wouldn't budge on our offer. Obviously, he was desperate to sell something, because after playing the "good cop/bad cop" routine with his "manager," whom we never saw, he relented and gave us the car for a fair price. Immediately after the sale, however, he was busy watching a baseball game in the lobby, and didn't really have much else to do with us as were finalizing paperwork and preparing to take ownership. When I went back to get service done to the car (that's another story!) at the service dept., I actually had to deal with the salesman again, and I really hated to. I know that this is a pretty typical car buying experience, so I probably shouldn't complain too much, but I really don't ever want to buy a car there again. Sadly, I think Lithia probably isn't "that bad," but it's all relative….so "not that bad, actually is pretty bad. We have a vehicle though, which was the goal, so I won't give this rating a 1! Just don't buy their ridiculous routine: the good cop, bad cop stuff, the desperation, the tactics, the pressure. Know your stuff, and just get up and walk out if they are acting desperate or pushy! more

Although they are not an "authorized" dealership for the Equus, they made exceptions for me to honor the warranty that comes with the vehicle. I certainly do appreciate this. Lithia Hyundai of Anchorage has a great crew/Team. Other dealerships should model after them. more

Gave me additional info I requested for bike carrier even though I told him I was "just looking" he went so far as getting the unit I was considering when I returned for pick up so I could see it. No pressure when I told him I was going to think about it. I will most likely be back when I have money to purchase. Thanks Mr Madrid... more
