Always something different 12/8/2009

The menu often includes something totally different ... and totally delicious. It pays off to expand your horizons at Listas. Overall atmosphere is very pleasant: relaxed and casual. Always something interesting slipped into the decor and music is there without being THERE. Enjoy! more

What a Meat!!! 1/31/2009

What a meal. Started with chips, salsa, taquitos and Ruebens crab soup. The soup was first class, lots of lump crab, creamy, complex and mildly spicy but only enough to complement the crab, something Rueben Evangelista does masterfully. Between the 7 adults we were treated with taquitos, crab enchiladas, fajitas, garlic shrimp and marinaded skirt steak. Absolutely everything was prepared perfectly to order. Try the Shrimp!!! and if you want Southwestern with a twist... the Crab Enchiladas are a must! As always the margaritas (on the rocks... always) were perfect. more

Great Tex-Mex locally 8/23/2005

Having recently moved to Anne Arundel County from the DC area, I was sure I'd find great local specialties, but unsure I'd find great ethnic food. A visit to Lista's - followed by many more - convinced me I was wrong. Lista's has authentic and freshly-prepared food, with true Tex-Mex spice. The margaritas are far too good (luckily they come in 3 sizes - look out for the largest size!) and the staff will treat you like a regular from your very first visit. The atmosphere is funky Southwest, but causal. They do take reservations and fill up fast, so it's always better to call ahead. more
