A large group of us went to Lisabella's for New Year's Eve. They had a set menu with 6 courses for $85 per person. With these prices, you would expect exceptional service; however the service and the food was well below par. Lobster bisque was the first course and it was cold. Many of us ordered the filet and when our food was served our waitresses paid no mind to which steak we actually ordered. I ordered mine medium and came out well done and charred on the outside. Others were raw and those that ordered the fish said it was overcooked. Each course took so long that we cancelled our deserts. Paying for the meal was a complete fiasco and the waitresses could not get it figured out even though each couple had separate checks. When we asked to speak to a manager, it took someone 20 minutes to see us, and when we told him our complaints, not only did he deny that our food was not prepared to order, but told us to pay and get the "f" out. To top things off, when our bus boy came around to clear our table, even though many of us were not finished, he took one of the wine glasses and chugged the rest of what was in the glass. For a group that spent well over $2,000 in a restaurant, I would expect to be treated well. I understand that large groups are hard to handle, but when a restaurant decides to host a set menu for New Year's Eve, they should be well prepared. I would not recommend Lisabella's to anyone.
Pros: quaint little house
Cons: bad service, food not prepared to order, restaurant not prepared for large groups
