Liquor Barn has the best wine selection in Santa Fe, complete with good prices. Even some smaller CA producers you don't normally find in New Mexico are here, such as Matt Garretson and others. Make sure to shop on Thursday, Friday or Saturday if you want good service and knowledge from the wine department. Jim is great and knows his wine. He'll find you what you're looking for and will not try and sell you something expensive if it's a great $12 bottle you're looking for. great selection of great value wines as well as cellar worthy reserve wines - recently moved to santa fe from the new york metro area and initially had difficulty finding the wines and hard liquor that i liked in santa fe or albuquerque, until i discovered liquor barn. i even went up to kokkoman to find my favorites but they didn't have them. the beer selection is one of the best in santa fe and overall they have highly competitve prices. i pick up only 2 or 3 other liquors at sams club since they are much cheaper but i get the rest of my entire supply here. they even special ordered wine for me without a minimum - got the wine in 3 days - i love coming here - while my wife shops at jackaloupe, i cross the street and pick up my usual favorites.
