I will never return to Lipkin's Pharmacy. The pharmacist has become unbelievably rude & abusive toward customers, insurance company professionals and the like. What he doesn't seem to realize is that he is in a service driven industry, and being polite to customers is not only beneficial in a business sense, but, just exercising common courtesy.\r
\r
Having been treated very rudely personally, I've also watched as he handily makes rude comments and exhibits an extremely angry attitude to anyone he deems worthy of a tongue lashing. Elderly customers are far from exempt from this treatment. At times, it seems as though he actually enjoys exercising the disrespect he shows to many who enter his pharmacy.\r
\r
Long gone are the days of the Herman Lipkin’s Pharmacy. Formerly a small town pharmacy, owned and run by a compassionate and caring individual, Herman Lipkin. Herman was a wonderful pharmacist and respectful person. Herman cared very much about his customers. Again, those days are long gone with the operation and ownership of the pharmacy now by James Damore. \r
\r
Wait times are ridiculous. Sitting and listening to the pharmacist continually complain ad nauseam about his long hours, etc. If he's working so hard, then why the long wait times, and need for dropping off prescriptions days in advance only to wait further when picking up? While you wait, you will be treated to listening to him complain about his job, speaking rudely to customers, insurance companies, doctors' offices, as well as his wife and mother.\r
\r
If you're interested in this type of Svengali-esk behavior and disrespectful treatment, then Lipkin's Pharmacy is for you. If not, drive a bit further to CVS, or other pharmacy where you will be treated with respect and dignity. \r
\r
Perhaps it's time to retire, Jim.\r
