Lions Tap Family Restaurant

I grew up going to Lion's Tap during special occassion trips to the "Cities." I now live in Tennessee and MUST stop at the Tap every time I visit Minnesota. They have the best cheeseburgers and fries of anywhere I've tried. Yes, that is all they have...because it's all they need. They have been serving nothing but burgers for decades and still have a booming business - this says it all! Some reviews have said negative things about service, but their waiters have been quick and efficient every time I've visited (and that is a lot:). Drinks, order, delivery, check to make sure everything is okay: good, basic service. Don't know why anyone needs more. They are always friendly, too. All in all, this is THE place for burgers. more

Yes they have great burgers but service is very lousy.Seating is very fast but service after that is very poor.You dont need any reservation and def its not a place for romantic lunch or dinner.If you are going in group , then yes its a good place. ambiance is between a pub and a cafeteria. other than that, i would recommend the restaurant solely for good, cheap eats more

If you love hamburgers and a restaurant that supports its community then you need to go to Lion's Tap. Lion's Tap in Eden Prairie only serves hamburgers, so do not go there expecting chicken! They have great french fries too. They also have lots of coupons, so you can usually go there for really cheap! The atmosphere here is very relaxed and fun! more

Lion's Tap has been rated, consistently, the best burger in Minnesota. It is a great American restaurant because it has classics and variations on them. Also appealing are the numerous offers, such as "buy one, get one free" often in Eden Prairie coupon books. The only negative aspect regarding Lion's Tap is the location between Shakopee and Eden Prairie. It is sometimes hard to find/get to. more

If you crave a good burger - then this is the place to go! All they do is burgers! Their menu is posted on the wall since it is fairly small - burgers, cheeseburgers, and fries. You can get bacon, onions, etc added. The prices can't be beat! Plus if you check the local paper - you can always find a coupon for buy one burger get one free. You can feed a family of 4 for less than pretty much any other restaurant. They do have a small bar with a few tap beers. They also have some sodas including the best root beer around. This is a great place for a family meal, a casual outing with friends, or a date (maybe not a first date if you are out to impress). They also offer take-out. more

This is the place to go in the western metro for a good burger and fries. You can take the whole family out here and not break the bank. Everywhere you look you'll find a "Buy One Get One Free" coupon, so don't go without one. There's nothing fancy about the restaurant, but you're sure to get quality food at a good price. more
