Great Roast Beef 3/18/2006

There isn’t a place in St. Louis that’s like Lion’s Choice. You can’t get a real roast beef sandwich at Arby’s or Subway the way you can at Lion’s Choice. The meat is steamed fresh at time of order so you never get a cold sandwich. Don’t forget the cheese, barbecue, and delicious aus ju sauces. Finally, although not many may believe me, Lion’s Choice has the absolute best french fries in town. more

Lion's Choice is the best St. Louis places for roast beef. Their sandwiches are always great. I like the roast beef or the ham, and I hear the turkey is good too. Make sure you get the fries with the special seasoning, and ask for Au jus for dipping. They also have great shakes. Enjoy! more

Lion's Choice offers great tasting Roast Beef Sandwiches! Lion's Choice is a hometown favorite with a few locations in St. Louis, Missouri. The Roast Beef is always hot, fresh and OHH so tender! They offer a bar-B-Q sandwich that makes your mouth water just ordering! The soups and salads are also very good. The prices are just right for a sandwich! The French fries are slim and hot and so yummy! But you can't leave Lion's Choice without an ice cream! Where else can you get an ice cream cone for $.10@!!!!! The soft serve ice cream is so good and they also offer an incredible chocolate that they can dip your cone into for an extra $.15@!!! FOr a great quick tasty meal Lion's Choice is a St. Louis tradition!! more

  • The recipe for our famous roast beef sandwich is simple: 100% real top round beef. Slow roasted on-site for three hours. Shaved extra thin. Served medium rare on a lightly toasted buttered bun. And topped with a dash of secret seasoning. It’s the same way we’ve done it for over 50 years. As real as it gets.
