Do not take your sewing machines to Lin's Sew and Vac unless you go when the repair man is there. Two women that cover the phone and business are rude, unfriendly, not helpful and tell lies and falsehoods to cover the poorly run business. These ladies have NO business running this business...their lack of customer care is appalling. Once they get your money...they have you like a puppet on a string! They have had my money, $108.19, since 1/5/13 and was told if I paid it up front it would save me several days of calling me back and getting me to send them the proposed money and it would put me in front of most of the other repairs since no one wants to pay before they get an estimate. Five days later I called & due to the flu it hadn't been looked at. Two days later I received a call from the repairman & was told there are two parts needed and an hour repair. He would have it done in two weeks. I called on 1/25 and it was not fixed because the repairman had the flu ... AGAIN??? The lady said she couldn't read his writing so didn't even know if part was ordered. I called 1/26 and said he was on his sick bed and if he didn't take off work and get rest he would get pneumonia!!! WORK NOW CAUSES PNEUMONIA??? I reminded the lady AGAIN that this sewing machine is how I feed myself...she said sorry but there was nothing they could do. I told them I was going to contact my lawyer and hung up. Ten minutes later I got a call and hang up from Lin's Sew and Vac. I called back and she said to come pick up my sewing machine and they will give me my money back. I requested they have it sent to me in good faith so as to avoid my 1.5 hour round trip again and the additional cost to me. She said I had to pick it up. I am so upset at this point of being used and trashed and dangled around ... I said I was going to contact my attorney and I hung up the phone. THIS PLACE HAD BAD REVIEWS BUT I THOUGHT MAYBE THEY GOT BETTER ...... THEY DID NOT!!!!!!! I've owned my own hardware store in Dallas and customer service was our number one priority. I worked at Home Depot for 14 years and our number one priority was always customer service at all cost. THIS PLACE IS SO BADLY MANAGED!!! BEWARE
