Lino's

Best pizza anywhere - believe me, I have tried pizza from coast to coast & as much as I love Chicago deep dish, it's got nothing on Lino's. The rest of the food is great, too, but even when I order a dinner, we still get a pizza to go, because it's just as good cold or re-heated the next day & I just can't go there without getting a pizza. I have always had great service as well, the take-out window is VERY busy, and they try to push people thru quickly, but I have never felt brushed off or neglected. more

seriously, do not listen to any of the neg. reviews. This place is amazing, especially the pizza and salad. I come from out of town just to eat here. Years and years and never a bad time. Love it. more

Had a Horrible Experience at Linos.. I called and spoke with someone twice and was told I could substitute coffee and get a soft drink once I get to the restaurant the waitress tells me no I cant substitute even tho I've been Told two previous times I can. Asked for the Manage and was told they were to busy to come see me because they were working a banquet downstairs. So i had to pay for my meal and received no drink.. Then the waitress was rude to us and brushed us along. Very Bad waitstaff. I even told the front hostess what had happened and told her it was wrong for them to tell me twice I could substitute my drink and they refused and she goes well thats to bad I just work here.. had a very bad experience. Food was decent but the waitstaff and workers were horrible and left very disatisfied. more

The food is just OK at this place. There is a short little Italian man that runs around and yells at his staff. I asked the waitress who he is and they said Joe. I was offended by how he treats his staff. Good people are hard to find and you need to treat them good. We will not go back as the food wasn't that great either. more

Lino's has been around forever it seems. And the food is always good. My personal favorites are the pizza and tortellini. Be prepared to wait, especially on a Friday or Saturday night. Even take out is busy! But well worth it. more

This is a hometown favorite of ours. They are famous around here for their great family prices on terrific Italian dishes. You can have a romantic dinner there or take the family there. Give them a try. Sharon J. more

I have always been a fan of Linos, going there for regular dinners, dinners before dances, etc. My best (and most important) experience was my wedding rehearsal dinner. My mother-in-law chose Linos on my recommendation, as I like their food. We were very happy with the great price we got for our party, the lovely room we had to ourselves, and the courtesy of the staff. In addition to our room, I have to say that the whole restaurant has such a great decor and feel. The food is always wonderful. One of my best friends has a birthday tradition - every year, her mom orders her a lasagna for dinner from Linos, and I come to dinner to share it. Although she has her own child now, her mom still orders it every year. I love Linos! PROS: staff, beauty, food, prices CONS: none! more

Lino's is a family owned business in the Rockford area. They have been around for year and is a very classy place. They have great food with a nice environment. I don't think there are words to describe the restraunt. It looks like a little castle from the outside and when you walk in there is a water fountain in the waiting area. The food is reasonable priced for a restraunt of this calibur. One must check this place out. more

The title speaks for its self. We are on are 3rd generation of family members that agree on the fact that this is the best. Every person I have taken to dinner here also agrees. I know of people that are willing to drive 2 hours just to have a slice of this awesome pie. The ambience is very relaxing, romantic, enjoyable. Turly a slice of heaven.
