I played this course recently in a church fundraiser. The course is average and could definitely use some better quality turf management. It is pretty wide open and a bit boring. The staff was not pleasant with our group at all. Several groups were yelled at by a very rude, less than clean shall we say, man riding a cart around. He said to some of us, "" Nothing against Pleasant Run, but that sh** doesn't fly out here."" Yes, just that eloquently. Well, I don't play Pleasant Run often at all, but I can assure you that it is certainly a better maintained course than The Links. Also, I have not run into any ""hillbilly"" employees there that assume that all members of a particular church live in the same area and play golf at the same course. Don't look for a professional experience here.
Pros: nice for big hitters
Cons: course staff
