Great course, challenging yet fair. Excellent greenskeeper who has done an outstanding job keeping up this expansive layout. Greens are a little slow but watch out for the undulations. more

Very nice course, nice staff 5/30/2011

We played there on Memorial Day and we were very favorably impressed. As anyone in Indiana knows, May has been exceptionally wet and that has made maintenance on golf courses extremely difficult and the rough everywhere is..well...rough, even in the first cut. Despite this, the course was in great shape. The fairways are wide on this course making it playable, but the greens are huge, so accuracy is important when hitting on to the green. As far as the employees are concerned, we were treated very well and everyone was very nice. The starter/ranger (Lee) was kind enough to personally escort my wife across the course and back to the clubhouse to use the restroom (the only restroom on the course is located there) and escorted her back when she was done. The personnel in the pro shop and snack bar were also very nice. more

Not a bad Course 6/22/2010

Played there on Fathers day 2010, they probably should not have opend the course due to all the rain, but using the cart path was just fine. The course was in really good shape and plenty of water... if you get my drift. The staff was pretty nice, the ranger driving around was a good guy. Looks like they had some problems in the past but we had no problems at all... I would recommend giving them a try. Pros: Mature Trees, well maintained Cons: none to speak of more

Stay Away! 8/16/2008

I play all over the city and the Links in New Palestine is an average course at best but the staff is rude and unpleasant. Newsflash guys, you don't have the course or do the volume of business to have that kind of attitude. No wonder your greens fees are bargain basement. Look elsewhere. Really, spend your hard earned dollars at someplace where they would appreciate the business. Avoid at all costs. Pros: Wide open layout Cons: The Staff is rude. more

Average course/ Chippy employees 8/28/2007

I played this course recently in a church fundraiser. The course is average and could definitely use some better quality turf management. It is pretty wide open and a bit boring. The staff was not pleasant with our group at all. Several groups were yelled at by a very rude, less than clean shall we say, man riding a cart around. He said to some of us, "" Nothing against Pleasant Run, but that sh** doesn't fly out here."" Yes, just that eloquently. Well, I don't play Pleasant Run often at all, but I can assure you that it is certainly a better maintained course than The Links. Also, I have not run into any ""hillbilly"" employees there that assume that all members of a particular church live in the same area and play golf at the same course. Don't look for a professional experience here. Pros: nice for big hitters Cons: course staff more
