Well, I had a problem with this tailor / alterations location. I called ahead for pricing on a simple hem for a dress. That was all that I needed. I was quoted approximately $35. So I made an appointment and showed up, however, nobody was there. I called downstairs (sewing room) a few times and finally someone appeared after a couple minutes. They pinned the dress and then I asked when I could pick it up and how much it would be. They said $85. I told them about the phone call and I realize pricing on the phone is approximate, but $50 difference is way off. They would only go to $75, so I walked out. For simple alterations, find another place.
