how much did they pay for a couple of good reviews 10/7/2010

I have never waited less than 20 minutes at the rail station for their cabs. Every trip I make to Long Island the story is the same, I call ahead to have a cab, I get to the station and wait and wait. There are always many people waiting. I have never had a problem once the cab arrived, just sick of always waiting. I second other reviewers who say dispatch speaks as though they're doing you some huge favor. I wish suffolk county had decent public transportation out a cab company that was not Lindy's more

RIP-OFF Scam artists! They change their price once they have you in the car -- nasty dispatcher goes by the name of TED -- disgusting company! Filthy cars -- smelly drivers! more

Excellent Prompt Service 9/22/2005

I've used Lindy's Taxi numerous times - both personally and business use. I have never had a problem getting through to them. Dispatchers are always courteous and gather information quickly and give me correct fares. Drivers arrive promptly and have always been very courteous and have gotten me to my destination safe & sound. Cars are clean and comfortable - not like a Lincoln Town Car, so don't expect that, but definitely decent. Fares are reasonable as well. I highly recommend using Lindy's Taxi if you need a cab in Suffolk County. more

A good option for Long Islanders in a transportation dilemma 8/13/2005

Lindy's Taxi, serving Central Suffolk County with two offices in Patchogue and East Setauket, is an inexpensive option to fix your transportation dilemma. If you need to get somewhere quick, they will be there quite quickly and the cabbies are friendly. Local rides will be around $6 and increasingly more with distance. more
