My wife and I went to Jay Lindsay the ""Marital Therapist"" in 2008. At the time, my wife was having an affair and we were on the brink of divorce. During our one on one session he told me, ""Don't show her you are upset, be a man, tell her that this guy is obviously a great guy since she fell for him.""
I have never heard a bigger crock of &^$% in my entire life. He charged us an arm and a leg for THAT kind of 'therapy'.
If you really have a marriage issue and need help, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lynn Blythe in Boulder. She is AMAZING. She saved our marriage by teaching us how to communicate with each other. She is such a straight shooter and asked us questions that really, truly made us think. She challenged us and in the end, through our own hard work, we came out on the other side extremely strong.
I never thought I would be in a position to have to write a review on marriage counselling, but for your own sake and the sake of your wallets, DO NOT go to Jay Lindsay. He is a complete fraud!
