The doctor I saw said he saw parakeets and could help me. (The person at the desk said he didn't see parakeets - on a followup visit.) He prescribed meds and the parakeet got worse. Finally the doc told me I had to take the parakeet to a bird hospital, but by that time it was too late. The bird just became worse and died. Maybe if I had been to the bird hospital (35 miles away) earlier he would have done better. I really missed him and was angry at Lindenhurst Animal Hospital. more

Good for pets and their people 1/11/2008

I agree with the first reviewer. LAH and its staff are good for pets. It's a happy and caring place. I'm always impressed by their genuine concern and love for animals. I often joke that I would like such loving treatment from my doctors when I'm sick. You know, all those hugs, kisses and sweet whisperings, not to mention treats. Mmm... (OK, maybe I'd skip the kisses and sweet nothings at my doc's office, but I sure would appreciate a similar level of attention and positive attitude from my own physicians as my dog gets at his every LAH visit.) more

Outstanding care! 5/4/2007

After reading a review about this clinic, I called and was immediately impressed by their professionalism. Our visit was nothing short of fantastic. My dog was first greeted in the waiting room by the Doctor and her assistant before we were taken in for his appointment. They truly love animals here and it shows! more

Very best in veterinary care! 3/30/2006

My dog loves going to the vet! Dr. Unger has a genuine love of animals and it shows. He is very thorough and will always give you all your options with regards to the care of your pet. I love that they have a separate entrance and waiting room for dogs vs. cats and other animals. Their prices are extremely reasonable. I wouldn't take my dog to any other office! Last minute appointment 11/12/2005

We recently moved and our dogs vet was over an hour away. She had a bad reaction to being spade and we were able to get a last minute appointment at Lindenhurst animal hospital. They were wonderful with her and very helpful to us. The hospital was clean and the staff seemed to be knowledgable. more
