I ordered the Lobster Roll. It was flavorless. It was all claw meat. Very disappointed. My wife had the Shrimp Roll. It should have been call a Sea Monkey Roll. The Shrimp were so small they looked like maggots. Again. Very disappointed. I will never go back. The name should be changed to Linda Bean's Half Ass Maine Lobster Roll. more

I went a few times for lunch and it hasn't improved. The service is ok. I just think their half-sub Lobster\r Hoagie is over-priced. They are certaintly not generous. more

The food is good and I have no complaints about the food.\r \r The service on the other hand is horrible. The restaraunt wasn't packed by any means. I could blatently hear the servers talking badly about customers and I could see them rolling their eyes at people. They were extremely rude to our table and to other customers. A lady at another table said that her food was unacceptable and the servers decided to talk loudly about her and reacted very negatively towards her. In specific, they yelled "unacceptable, are you kidding me!?" Have they never head of customer service? Our bill was over $200 and we were treated very rudely. The servers would make a fist at people as they left and exclaim loudly how happy they were that they were gone. They would also talk loudly about how they didn't want to be there and just wanted everyone to leave. It was by far the rudest customer service I have ever experienced. It was appalling. \r \r I got the names of the girls working and reported them to the manager. He said he would take care of it but seemed more interested in whether or not the food was good than the service that was provided.\r \r Needless to say, will not be going back unless their staff changes their attitude. more

As a special treat, we decided to give Linda Bean's another chance, since the first visit hadn't been that great. Well, not much has changed, not for the better anyway. Nice amount of lobster, all soggy claw meat, though. And other than a little mayo, was there any "special sauce?" We had to go in and ask for some on the side, just to add a little flavor. We were really looking forward to this visit and didn't want some of the other reviews influence us negatively. Sorry to say, those who feel it's average and overpriced do have it right. more

I work 40 minutes from Linda Beans. I found it last summer and go there every chance I get and have turned on friends and family alike.\r \r today is my birthday and when my darling husband said he was taking me wherever I wanted to go... Off to Linda Beans we went!! \r \r It was his first time there - he totally agreed it's worth the drive and the money! LOVE IT and I'm from the northeast where you can buy a lobster roll at practically anywhere that sells a sandwich.\r \r so good!! more

I ordered soup and lobster roll. The bun was a hot dog roll; the type you can leave at room temp for a few months and it will still be soft. The soup was good. Some of the employees were abrupt and the one coughing on the food prep counter without covering her mouth is enough for me to never return. More professionalism by the staff and this place would do well....And yes, expect to spend about $20 for a full meal..... more

We ordered a lobster roll, a grilled cheese, and draft beer. The grill cheese was good, as was the cole slaw, chips and the beer. The lobster roll disappointed consisting of several soggy rubbery pieces of claw meat thrown into a bun with only the mere hint of the special sauce. Go to LB for the beer, the sides, and the location. Skip the lobster. more

I had a chicken salad panini as I can't eat lobster (and therefore couldn't eat much on the menu, granted I expected that before going). I went as part of a larger party. We all agreed food was very fresh, but portions were small. Nice place to sit and watch the Avenue, so that has to count for something!! more

If you have traveled to New England, you will be disappointed in the size and quality of the lobster rolls here - they pale in comparison. Still, if you are craving one, this is a quick fix. more

The lobster was fishy and frozen, far, far from perfect. Will not be back. more

My mom and I (who are both born and raised in Scituate, MA) stopped by for the first time last month to see if we would like it, we have been to the one in Nantasket, MA. It was good! Lobstah (like we say in Boston) was very fresh and they did not skimp and the Chowdah was excellent too! I do find it pricey but once in a while a real treat worth the price for lunch! We liked the way it felt inside very cozy and reminded us a lot of home! I really hope the restaurant stays there a long time because I plan on going back and if I have company from Boston taking them there too! more

My sister and I ate at the restaurant several weeks ago. We each had a cup of soup and 2 lobster rolls. I also purchased a soft drink. The bill came to 58.00 plus a tip. I felt that was a bit much for lunch. I have a home in Ct at the shoreline. I often eat lobster rolls and clam chowder throughout the summers so I know what the going rate is. The locals need to think long and hard before dishing out that much money for lunch. If your curious , that bill in Ct would be 12 to 15 dollars less.. Good luck. more

Wanted to treat my to here favorite thing in the world a New England lobster roll, it was more like a California Roll. The perfect lobster roll has 3 things. A toasted roll, fresh lobster and light moyo. Thats it!\r The roll was NOT toasted!\r There was NO mayo!\r There WAS plenty of lobster meat. \r It's flavor completely overpowered by ... CELERY SALT, OMG!\r Total WASTE of good lobster and cash more

Whenever I'm in the area, I always stop by Linda Bean's for a lobster roll. While writing this review, it says only 71% of people like it. Believe me, that's an absurd figure. 100% of people who like lobster will LOVE this place.\r \r It's pricey at about $16 per sandwich, but worth every penny. There have been times when I've eaten here TWICE in one day. It's THAT good. more

If you love the lobster roll that Maine is so well known for then Delray Beach's Linda Bean's Lobster Roll little corner cafe is for you! Minus the cooler weather that Maine offers, it is like sitting in Freeport Maine and biting into tons of nice white lobster meat and washing down with one of many great ales. I read all the reviews and for the most part, they were good. Many complained about the cost, well let me tell you, you are not going to eat lobster for Burger King prices!!!! What do you expect?? I am excited about having a little bit of Maine here in South Florida. I am however a little disappointed in her political views, but other than that, the corner establishment is really great. Food it awesome and I would encourage anyone who really loves lobster, the little road side huts that serve lobster rolls, and the great Maine food to give them a try. I know we sure will go back. I would rate them as a 5 out of 5! more

Then I was told about her political views and stand about Human Rights, Born and raised in Freeport Maine, all my school clothes had to come from ll bean, if not bergdoff goodman in Boston, as a restaurant owner in florida, I welcomed this concept with joy, tons of joy, then it all crashed on me... I am sad, that a women that could do so proud to so many broke my heart more
