Lincoln Plaza Hotel is another extravagant but super expansive hotel in Ca. In line with Beverly Hills hotels, I think the price is too steep and high - I would never pay it in a million years. But location is good and the hotel is one of the prettiest in the area with beautiful loby and all! more

Good location for Chinese tourists 9/7/2005

My father's friends came to LA to visit my family. We booked the rooms for them in this hotel. Since they can not speak Chinese, this Chinese operated hotel will be a very good choice. The hotel is located in the center of Chinese community in LA which is Monterey park. There are lots of Chinese supermarkets, restaurants, and small stores in that area. If you speak Chinese only, you will be totally fine within the area. The rooms are better than the motels, but the price would be higher. more

Lincoln Plaza Hotel 8/10/2005

If you're looking for a place to stay while in Monterey Park, look no further. Lincoln Plaza Hotel is in the middle of the hustle and bustle, and isn't as expensive as some other hotels in the area. Don't forget to have dinner at the restaurant downstairs. It's rated as one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. more

Old, but still serviceable 8/10/2005

While traveling down main road of Monterey Park, or Garvey road, this hotel is hard to miss. Standing 20 stories high and just off the side of Garvey, Lincoln Plaza Hotel gives you a view of Monterey Park like no other. While the rooms and hallways are quite dated and no sign of renovation in sight, they are not filthy to the point of serious discomfort. Also, the Chinese restaurant found in the lobby happens to be one of the busiest and best in Monterey Park. more

Chinese Hotel 8/6/2005

This hotel is right in the heart of downtown Monterey Park and is probably most suitable for Chinese speaking visitors. The hotel also boasts a pretty delicious dim sum breakfast where patrons include those who are not hotel guests. The hotel is no nonsense and does not offer too many frills but it is convenient to everything and will make those who don't speak english very welcome. more
