I beg you, please, do NOT move here! I read the reviews before I moved in and I thought it was just people who had been born in a barn and that it couldn't possibly be that bad. Please learn from my experience that it is that bad. The apartments are nice and it all seems fine until you get to the end of your stay, except that the maintainence people are all Mexican and do not understand English at all. We opted to get out early because in two night our two cars got broken into three times. The land lady Gayle who lives in the apartments even said that she is scared to go out by herself at night because there are so many break ins. When we moved out they black lighted the floor because we had a cat. When they did not find anything they tore up the carpet and checked for spots on the back of the carpet that had been put in in 2001. Since there were obviously spots since the carpet is almost 10 years old we had to pay to replace to carpet since we were they only people that had ever registered as having a pet in that apartment. I scrubbed the apartment for days and they told me that they were still going to charge me for cleaning because they wanted their own people to do it so they new it was clean. When we got our final bill we were at a lost for words because the amount was just staggering. We went in to talk to Gayle about it and she acted like she had to move heaven and earth to make time to talk to us and that we were so lucky to be able to have her time. Then she spent a good thrity minutes lecturing us like 3 year olds about how she was being lenient and we should be on our knees thanking our lucky stars that we had such a nice land lord. She allowed no room for our input and cut us off everytime we went to talk. She flat out told my husband to shut up when he started talking. She was very rude and now we are stuck paying a ridiculus amount because I didn't listen to the comments others had left. Please, don't do it! You will just end up kicking yourself when you move out.
