Lincoln High School

Who would have ever thought that a school would be reviewed like a roll of toilet paper. Usually, people who are happy with a product or service won't take the time to comment. Only those with a bad experience. As the reviews show, Lincoln is doing just fine. As the ONLY Performing Arts School in the San Jose Area, Lincoln has established itself as one of the best public schools to attend if you live in the San Jose Unified District. Test scores are on the rise and the academics are excellent. The teaching staff is experienced, professional and actually cares about student achievement. As far as the campus goes, it has had 5 years of construction updates with the addition of new classrooms, a theatre, dining facility, updated computer center and in Fall 2007 a new science wing. It's a safe and clean campus. Go for a visit, I'm sure you'll be surprised. As one of the only schools in the District with a LONG waiting list, something has to be desirable at this school. more

I dont think this school is too hot. At least I know I wouldnt really want to go here. Their test scores dont show the best results, there are better schools outthere. There are definitly a couple of teachers there who are good, but there is such a tiny chance that you will get one of them. As at any school the budget cuts have really cut deep. Academics here just arent so great. more

Lincoln High School isn’t one of the best high schools in San Jose. The academics here are mediocre. The campus here isn’t the nicest, but it is still probably better than that of an "average" California school. The teachers here aren’t the best. Class sizes here are pretty big too. Overall, this school could definitely use improvement. more
