I have been to this office on several occassions and have had bad experience everytime! The first time I went was because my cat had broke her leg. I went in there in tears and got the ""have a seat, it will be a lil while before the vet can see you"". When I had called before I came they gave me one price for X-Rays and then charged me double. They also made me get extra tests on my cat before they would even start treating her leg which started adding up. At the time I only had 3/4 of the money to get her better and I asked them to give me two days to come up with the rest and they told me I could just take my cat home the way she was and she should be fine......""people do it all the time"".......HER LEG WAS STICKING STRAIGHT OUT TO THE SIDE OF HER BODY!!!! I could not leave her that way. I begged them to give me till closing to come up with the rest and they finally agreed. The vet fixed her and gave me a bill that I had to fight them with cause they charged me to much. Then he told me to come back in 4 weeks to get the cast off. I asked him if that was going to cost and he said no. I went back 4 weeks later just to actually get screamed at by the foreign woman saying that I was supposed be there 2 weeks earlier. I had to bring in proof that I was told that. I was told then that it was going to cost me an additional 150.00 just to have them look at it. What a crock. I also took my dog there and because they don't know how to communicate they almost killed my dog by over dosing her. I advise that no one takes there animals there if you want proper care!! Cons: There is not one person that knows what they are doing more

This place is awful I took my 10 week old puppy in on 1/9/09 he had got tangled in barb wire it was around his torso and his neck I did all I could do I cut the barb wire as much as I could ( about a foot still on the little guy)put him in the truck headed to a vet an office from the sheriffs dept told me there was one on middle creek ""mountain home ""i go in with my pup in my arms the wire around his neck i said i have an emergency the one receptionist went in the back the other dark haired one said are you a ""client"" i said no but this is an emergency she told me the vets would not be back until 2 this was at 1:30 i looked at her in disbelief ask where is the closest vet from here she said as she was twiddling her pen in her fingers on Chapman hwy i walked out with my hurt pup in my arms in a state of shock..I remembered seeing a vet on the parkway decided to go there it was closer soon as i walked in with my pup the receptionist got up and got a nurse she took me to an exam room the vet came in immediately took care of my pup (which is fine now)I was so relived i ask the vet is name.......Dr.Scott was my puppy's Guardian Angel that day on my way out i stopped to pay ,the nurse said you don't owe anything i broke down and cried .the compassion PARKWAY ANIMAL HOSPITAL showed was awesome mountain home veterinary i pray some day you will have just some of the compassion to animals that Parkway showed me more

You will not go wrong with Dr. Ratliff or any of the Vets at Mountain Home Veterinary Hospital. Their Dental facility is top notch. Laser assisted surgery is available. A first class facility where the pets are truly on of the family. No one else in Sevier County compares to them! Pros: Highly professional. Very clean and modern hospital. Very smart doctors.
