Since 1993, Little Tykes Childcare & Learning Center has been providing the families of Springfield, Media, Swarthmore, Folsom, Ridley, Drexel Hill, Darby, Upper Darby, Morton, Woodlyn, Nether Providence and Chester, with outstanding childcare, daycare, and preschool services. Within the Center, each staff person is assigned specific children to supervise. We use positive and encouraging language in the presence of the children as they participate in group or individual play. Little Tykes Childcare & Learning Center encourages ongoing communication with parents, providing a personal daily written report for each Infant, Toddler, Preschooler and Pre-K child on their daily activities. At Little Tykes Childcare & Learning Center, we focus on language and literacy, associating letters with sounds and sight words, math and science, socialization skills that promote positive relationships between children and teachers, and learning through exploration and discovery, imagination and play. We believe that children of all ages should enjoy playtime, and promote outdoor play (weather permitting). For those too young for the playground, they are included in highly-supervised stroller walks.
