Great Cajun food, in SEASIDE! 8/8/2010

Stopped by this restaurant during a busy weekend at the Coast. They had some great live music playing, great drinks from the bar, and the food was fantastic! I had never tried many cajun items before coming here, however; I have been hooked. The crawfish were excellent. The jambalaya had great spice and flavor. We will be back during our next beach trip. more

Best Cajun and Creole food West of the Mississippi 6/14/2007

This is a ""must eat at"" venue if you are traveling to Seaside, Oregon. The food was very fresh and well presented. We felt like we were eating with friends. The staff was very helpful in choosing our selections and the service was quick. Don't be afraid to take children, the Macaroni and Cheese was gourmet good. Lots of ""Not so hot"" choices on the menu. Save room for the Chocolate & Banana bread pudding.\r We will be back!\r \r Pros: Atmosphere, food, selection, service. Cons: Don't live close enough to this one. more

LOVED THIS PLACE 6/9/2005

We have visited this establishment any number of times and every time it was wonderful. I know good cajun food and this is HOT STUFF! It is a fun atmosphere and the people there are very friendly. The service is fast, polite, friendly and genuine. It is a bit LOUD, but that goes along with the party atmosphere I guess. We drive down to Seaside from Clackamas JUST to go to Lil Bayou. It is ""New Orleans meets the West Coast""! Thanks for giving us a reason to visit Seaside more often! more

Cajun?? 11/1/2003

I was VERY disappointed in this restaurant. The atmosphere was poor, the room we were seated in looked like it had been hastily thrown together that very morning. My meal, red beans and rice, was nearly inedible. It was simply a plate of minute rice with a dollop of beans in the middle and a split hot dog on top. My Husband had the swamp platter which was marginally better. Greens = 5 raw green beans as garnish? And the prices were insanely high (15+) for the quality of food recieved. So not worth it. Pros: Good Service, nothing, nothing Cons: poor quality, high prices, poor presentation more
