ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE PEOPLE !! THEY YELLED AT MY 80 Y.O GRANDMOTHER DEMANDING MORE CASH !! These people called me after an internet move quote request I submitted online...I don't know how they got my info...I didn't submit it to them. They lied about everything and promised me the world, on move day everything changed. They showed up with day laborers that spoke no English...were incredibly lazy rude and had no idea what they were doing. They obviously use fake 5 star reviews to make themselves look better....at delivery...almost all my goods were broken...and they yelled at my 80 year old grandma trying to extort money from her !!....when I checked them out to complain...I found out the USDOT fined them 25000.00 in 2011 for holding customers goods hostage !! These people are criminals !! ...they should not be in business !! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !! more

I loved moving with Lightning Van Lines. They made the whole episode completely painless. I was very happy with the packing and crating of my fine antiques. They are very compete with their pricing and very courteous service. more

I was fortunate enough to have had good experiences moving and I can say that Lightning Van Lines. definitely made it that way. We used them to move us a few years ago from our apartment in Ohio to California, and then most recently from California to New York. They are terrific! The staff is overall very helpful and friendly and they back the prices that they quote. more

The company hit my car when moving my friend's things. Then the drivers lied about it. After we showed them a video from a neighbor's security camera proving that they hit my car they refused to give me the name of their insurance company, then gave me the run around until i had to look up their insurance company through the Better Business Bureau. They're crooks and liars. more

We searched high and low for a trustworthy company to move the owners in and out of a house we rented for our television reality show. I wanted to take a quick minute to review a wonderful moving company; Lightning Van Lines for all their hard work with our move from Burbank to Sunset Blvd. This move was very challenging to say the least. The timing, scheduling, the uniqueness of the items moved (antiques, rock & roll memorabilia etc.) plus the fact that we had been in that location for 27 years made this an incredibly difficult move. The Lightning Van Lines crew made it happen. The guys were professional, quick and skilled. We were never waiting on them. They attacked the job and completed the task within our crazy time line. I just used Lightning Van Lines to help me move from my apartment in downtown LA to West Hollywood and they were extremely helpful and efficient. They came to my apartment on time and honored my quote exactly (which some moving companies don't). They packed my stuff into their truck without a problem and put them all in the right places (boxes labeled fragile were put on top of other boxes). The movers were very nice, did what I asked and even moved my irregularly shaped desk ( curves at a weird angle, was worried it wouldn't get through the door) without a hitch. They then delivered my belongings on time with no problems. I was very happy with Lightning Van Lines and highly recommend them to anyone who is moving or planning on moving.
