When I was a child I often disagreed with my father on what he would like for supper when the familiar question was posed by my mother over the 6 PM News. When I protested my mother would fire off her classic retort, ""I'd love to make that for you honey, but you see I'm not a short-order cook!"" and I'd get what my pop got :)\r

The Lighthouse on Homestead is every picky child's delight; it's like my mother became a short order cook! From their Grill Wars-winning burgers to old-fashioned turkey dinner every Sunday, there is never a lack of full stomachs or delighted people in the building.\r

Two thumbs waaaaaaaaay up. The drive up the north shore was a huge disappointment dinner-wise for me after the original owners of the Lakeview Castle left. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for opening the Lighthouse.
