Great company to work with... They are very friendly, upfront, and honest. Had my exhaust system worked on, they were willing to let me look at the work someone else did, and show me the repairs that needed done. Rylan the owner, is very helpful, and shows his commitment to success... Brought the car in on a cold day, they will make you a hot cup of coffee, turn on the tv, and let you relax in their comfortable waiting room with nice leather furniture. We were new to the area and didn't anything about local mechanics. After talking with the guys at Lighthouse on the phone, I could tell they were competitive with their pricing and new what they were talking about. Lighthouse provided great, quality service for an excellent price and super quick turn-around. We had a new battery, belt and alternator put on 2004 Scion. Also had new brakes and rotars put on a 2006 Impala. They are honest people that do a great job. They have become my local mechanic and I will go back for all other vehicle needs! more

I am so impressed with the care and quality of the work Rylan and his team has done for my car. I had checked out many, and I mean many mechanics in the area and have not been as satisfied as I am of this team. I thought there was really no hope for my car and they did what I felt was the impossible! Thanks Rylan! You know that when you find a mechanic you can trust (honest and knows what they're doing) with one of your more expensive items in life that gets you to and from your paycheck, you use them over and over again. And if there is ANY problem with the work they do, they will make it right, Rylan insists on it. I had problems with my transmission, had many quotes and many suggestions from other mechanics, Rylan laid it all on the line for me and was honest with all my options, including the price and the length of time it would take; He even got me a rental car. They are ok for oil changes but any major work will not be done correctly. They are shady and incompetent. I will never take my car there again. They don't do all of the work they charge you for. Pros: null Cons: null more

This mechanic is WONDERFUL!! Our car broke down after I picked up my husband from work. Someone stopped and helped us and called Lighthouse Automotive and they helped us right away. They got the job done in a matter of hours so I can get back to work. I definitely recommend them to all my friends and I will bring all my vehicles to them!! Lighthouse Automotive was there when I needed them. My SUV broke down on the way to Idaho from Texas. I knew no one in Co Springs but found a friend in Rylan. He took care of my vehicle and even picked me and my family up from the hotel, arranged for a rental car and was overall most hospitable. Honest mechanics are not easy to find, if you go with Lighthouse, you've found one. more

I have never seen such a liar before and the owner really will try to get over on you if you don't know any better! People who know better do better! Please don't take your vehicle to them! The work that this shop do is no where near how you should treat the transportation that gets you from point A to point B! The owner will try to squeeze as much cash out of you as possible for a POOR QUALITY JOB! more

The owner of this establishment is not only honest in business, if he knows you are not 100% satisfied with the job he will do what it takes to make sure you are. Can't say enough good about Rylan Blair. He has taken care of our old volkswagen several times, each time working into the evening (his family time) to get the car up and running again. Integrity and honesty don't do him justice, especially when most mechanics are neither! Take your car there and see for yourself! THEY ARE AUTOMOTIVE ARTISTS!!! Just got my Mustang back with a new transmission. Holy smokes they exceeded expectations. They've always been very professional and friendly with minor repairs and whatnot and I had always heard they were real old school type speed shop pros so I had them build my transmission but gave them some very rigid requirements. These guys are incredible! more

As a single mom I'm sick of repair shops I can't trust. How many times have I looked at some mechanic and just KNEW he was lying but couldn't put my finger on it? Three times now I have gone to Lighthouse Automotive and had GREAT experiences. First my windshield wiper came loose; they popped it back in place for FREE. Next I saved about $30 off the estimate another shop gave me for exhaust work. Just recently my car wouldn't start and needed to be towed. They arrangemed it and my car was picked up in just over an hour. They called me at work before lunch and told me I had a cracked distributor cap, old spark plug wires and needed a tune up, BUT (and get this) they had already replaced the distributor cap and my car was now running and could be picked up, but they just wanted to recommend the new spark plug wires and tune up. Ladies, how many times has a shop "recommended" something WITHOUT trying to sell it right then with how necessary it is, what a big emergency it is? It doesn't happen. These guys were real clear that they did the minimum repair necessary to continue driving my car, but they wanted to do a bit more - not necessarily today, but when my budget would allow. I told them to do the tune up and replace the wires. Then I called two other shops to get their price for the same work. I couldn't get there until after closing hours to pick up my car, but the owner of the company waited for me so that I'd have my car for work in the morning. He handed me my bill, it was $22.50 cheaper than the lowest of the other two estimates. Then he showed me the problem on my old spark plug wires and made me see the necessity. He mentioned (ready for this) they noticed I needed an alignment, but unwilling to call me twice at work in one day, they just rotated my tires FOR FREE until I was ready. I was impressed. He asked me to tell my friends Lighthouse wants to be our lifelong mechanic. So I am telling everyone: Lighthouse Auto Repair is AWESOME! Pros: You can trust them. Cons: No bad side.
