Sunday was my first experience with Lightfoot and I was more than pleased. Lightfoot was selected as a meeting place for a first date and while nerves where on edge on both sides of the table, by the end of an excellent salad and service a level of comfort was achieved and it was a wonderful ambiance for a first date. more

Went for a birthday ladies lunch...perfect spot for this. We were allowed to sit, relax and talk. Meal was very nicely presented and tasty. Received a complimentary I e cream cupcake when mentioned birthday. more

the food is absolutely wonderful! I loved the their cheese plate with goat cheese with honey and fig. The quesedilla with duck was a winner as well. Gorgeous inside too! more

Came here after a hike with a friend, what a nice place in the middle of historic Leesburg - first time to the area and it is really charming. We sat outside on the terrace and enjoyed wine, sweet potatoe fries, fried green tomatoes, french onion soup, and the atomic crab cake, YUM! Everything was great - the server even brought water out for my friend's dog. more

Second trip to this restaurant and we highly recommend the food. It was excellent. The menu contains very good meat and seafood options, there are several specials and all are presented nicely. Also good wine choices. Lively place with piano being played upstairs. more

My husband and I went here for our 2 year anniversary. Really fantastic food and great service. As great as their standard menu looked, the specials were too delicious to pass up! The main course was rockfish topped with crab topped with a caper-butter sauce. delicious! my only disappointment was their sweet potato fries. i had subbed the butternut squash ravioli for the fries and wish i hadn't. they were a bit greasy. my husband stuck with the ravioli and it was definitely the better choice. we had a pumpkin brownie topped with ice cream with walnuts and caramel sauce. very good. the server was exceptional as well. the total came to $105 for 2. its not cheap but worthy of a special occassion meal. will definitely return just not often.\r more

Lightfoot consistently serves it up well. Portions are huge, deviled eggs (yes, deviled eggs!) are GREAT. The pork shank is huge and tender and just amazing. I've had the calamari - done perfectly, steaks - perfect, and dessert - YUM!\r more

I went to Leesburg on a business trip and had to work long hours. Fortunately, I found this restaurant in the historic downtown area for our late dinner. The food was amazing! The decor and building is just romantic and antique-looking. If i would live closer to this area, i would definitely take my husband for romantic dinners here. I had the Oysters Rockefeller for appetizer and the Steak Pad Thai for entree. Both were delicious and well-done. I've posted pictures of the food on my other food blog: more

Have eaten at Lightfoor many times. In the summer month the patio area can be a very nice place to eat, especially on the nights when soem of the local musicians are playing. The soups and salads are usually excellent, the salmon sald, and the Cesar salad are especially good choices. The crab soup is delicious and the 'specials' are usually worth a try. They make a very good crab cake and there steaks, while not 'prime' are usually very good. if you have room for dessert their Chocalate Sundae will satisfy any sweet tooth. more

This is an old bank.When you enter you see several old vaults;and dark woods.\r Had a late lunch.There was a nice list of sandwiches and salads though. Cheese tray was great....more than enough for 2 people. Goatcheese wjth honey eaten with gingersnaps was a real treat.Fish and chips were also good. Will be back to try dinner. more

For my wife's birthday I selected Lightfoot as we have had a reliably good dining experience there several times in the past. The service has sometimes been great and sometimes been mediocre but never bad. This experience was no different.\r more
