My Mother passed on Mothers Day a couple of weeks ago....She had been ill for some time never the less it was, and is very painful to loose someone that close to you. We unfortunately lost another close family member less than a year ago, that's when we first met the Betzler family. Not all of the staff there is related but because they made us feel so welcomed, so at ease, and at peace they all seemed related. They showed us genuine concern and care and were very professional.
We didn't feel as though we had walked into a funeral home at all, we were greeted at the door, seated in a very comfortable surrounding, offered refreshments and began our conversation with Jen....All of my siblings and I sat in a circle just telling our Mother's story as Jen typed on her lap top....Later what just felt like an ordinary conversation turned into a well scripted life story they put together about Mom...
The visitation service was a time for friends and family to say hello to us and goodbye to our Mother...for now. Know one is ever "scripted" as to what a visitation should look or feel like but I can say this...My Mother looked beautiful, was well represented, and was cared for lovingly. Everything Betzlers did was professional and caring...They helped us give our Mother a home going that she would have been proud of.
