Had been going to HRBlock for years but I returned home from deployment and found their office closed, intended to go back when they were open but passed this tax office on the way home and they were open. I got my current year's taxes done, and they amended the "open" years. Result, for over 20 years HRB has been doing my Michigan state taxes wrong. My state does not tax my military pay. The preparers at HRBlock didn't know this. I didn't believe it myself until Barbara printed information from Michigan's website and showed me. I had been overpaying my taxes $4k a year for 20 years.
