I've had a similar negative experience w/ Rick. I paid 1/2 down for a custom cabinet and 7 months later I have nothing except his empty promises and excuses. This seems to be his pattern of business - he should be embarrassed and ashamed. He hasn't responded to me since July and I certainly haven't heard from him since I said I wanted back my money. From the other reviews, I guess I shouldn't hold out hope that will happen. Absolutely despicable! more

I've had a similar negative experience w/ Rick. I paid 1/2 down for a custom cabinet and 7 months later I have nothing except his empty promises and excuses. This seems to be his pattern of business - he should be embarrassed and ashamed. He hasn't responded to me since July and I certainly haven't heard from him since I said I wanted back my money. From the other reviews, I guess I shouldn't hold out hope that will happen. Absolutely despicable! more

We hired Rick for a job, paid a deposit in October 2011, he cashed the check and then every time we called to see why the project was not done he had an excuse. We finally (in June) just asked for our deposit back and he has stopped responding to our calls. Do not hire this man, he does not deliver anything. more

I am having to sue for my $5,600 deposit.Rick is a flake! 7/22/2011

Run, don't walk away from this guy. I signed an $11K contract with him. 12 weeks later, after hearing every excuse known to man, I have nothing usable. I finally had to hire another cabinet maker who is charging $9K to finish just one part of the job. I am two months behind schedule and have had to pay $3K in extra interest on my loan and $1,800 in extra rent. Rick Campbell refuses to return any of my deposit. I have sued him small claims but that will do no good in the end. He has no money or assets. So I guess I can just kiss my deposit good-bye even if I win the case. Be warned! more
