Great place for walking, jogging, getting with friends. 9/7/2009

This park has only become better and better as the years have gone by, without a doubt. Haaving been raised here in Salt lake and utah county, i've been familiar with this park since iwas 8 years old. It has been improved upon and well patrolled from vandalism and vagrancy by far i would say more than any other parl in the city. A very good place to come and enjoy picnics and outings with friends, family or even alone to walk, jog or whatever other excercise one prefers. Keep it up, Maintenance people of Liberty Park. Kudos to ya. Pros: Very well taken care of, probably by locals who love the par Cons: Vey few drawbacks. The park is well patrolled. more

great park if you can see through the neglect 8/7/2007

yes, this is a nice park with lots to do, however my husband and i were very disappointed in the extreme lack of care and attention it has recieved this summer. they spent lots of money refurbishing the park lately and then let it go. trees and shrubs are dead along the north to south center sidewalk and are in desperate need of shaping and pruning. weeds are taking over. the pond was horribly poluted and drawing creatures to it from every direction. i don't understand the effort and money put into a project and then it is left to deteriorate. more

Great for Families! 7/25/2003

I think that this is one of the best parks I have ever been to! I have a 4 year old daughter who loves it! The playground is wonderfule and huge! And the water features are even better. The pond where all of the ducks and seagulls hang out is also great, but bring plenty of bread crumbs! There is even a couple of kiddie rides that are a nice break for the parents. I think that this is a place all families should visit! Pros: Fun, entertaining more

Great Park 9/9/2002

This is the best park in Salt Lake City. It is great for walking, running, rollerblading, bicycling, and just relaxing. The pond with ducks is a great place to sit, relax and read a book. The park is huge and you can always find a great spot to hang out in a non-crowded area. Tracy Aviary is next door and a fun place to spend a few hours. Pros: Size, Duck pond, good for activities Cons: Not close to my home more

Fun new attractions open 7/25/2002

Love the new childrens playground by the rotary club. My daughter had so much fun. I have never seen a playground like this before. The lake is fun to walk by and Tracey Aviary is fun too. Pros: new attractions, easy to find, beautiful trees Cons: parking, dirty, construction more

Lovely green space 6/9/2002

This park, located in the middle of the city, is great for sunbathing, walking, or picnicking. Kids love to play in the fountain that replicates the city's surrounding canyons and the Salt Lake Valley. There's also a ferris wheel and some other kiddie rides--great for birthday parties. If you've never walked through Tracy Aviary, check it out. The facility is well kept and lush greenery makes you feel like you're in another world. Pros: Central location more

Family Park 6/5/2002

The trees in Liberty Park are a postcard in themselves, all times of year, they are gloriously dressed for the season. This is a great place to take your lunch to, walk your dog, skaters use the path. Pros: mature trees, good parking, easy access more
