The Spirit of the Lord convicts in the services and if you're not right with Him you will certainly not be comfortable! This is a church of human people from all walks of life who have been salvaged from the junkyard of sin. Do they still sin? YES! Does God forgive? Certainly, when we repent and ask for it. Excellent, solid teaching from the inspired Word of God. Real meat for a world sickly with the watery milk of compromise. more

Liberty Faith Church is a church that strives to live God's Word and has a passion for the salvation of the lost. This DOES make a lot of people mad, but our duty as believers is to warn them -- not to entertain them. Hell is real and folks need the truth. Belief is optional for the hearer but essential to salvation of the soul. Your choice = your eternity. The focus of the church is on the Bible and on serving God and those in need -- rather than on the minister or on social functions as is sadly the case all too often in too many of the milk-toast ""churches"" of today. The church supports a Christian school and also assists homeschoolers in obtaining and using home school materials. Home school kids are NOT isolated as is often alleged by its opponents; they are welcome to come to the Christian school to participate in P.E. classes, team sports and other school activities The church also helps to sponsor a children's Christian camp every summer. None of what the church does is about raising money; God takes care of the finances for these ministries in His own way. The CD and tape ministry is FREE to all and there isn't anything on the recording to tell you to send money -- that would just be so wrong.\r \r I've never seen any weapons displayed there, but with all the God-hating, church-bashing nut cases out there that might try something violent in a church, I am comforted knowing that several of the church's members are law enforcement officers and most likely always prepared to lawfully defend the innocent. Anyone who thinks that's a bad thing... Why??? This is most likely the same demographic as most other churches or any other people group, for that matter. You have your factory workers, your contractors, your teachers, your bankers, your businessmen, your military men, your law enforcement officers, etc. \r \r Liberty Faith Church loves God, loves fellow believers, loves the lost, and loves to meet and greet visitors, who will find a warm welcome. Pros: Preaching is sincere -- not sugar-coated. Congregation cares about people. Music is great! Cons: Gravel parking lot. Both parking lot and church seating often crowded. Previous review Posted by majrtom on 08/22/2005 Does God or Satan Rule This Church? seems to be totaly out of line from my expierence. I have listed to Pastor Kelly's sermon's on tape and CD for the past 7 or 8 years and have visited his church when I am in the area. If you do not want to be told that we have all sinned and deserve HELL, then don't go to this church. If you do not want to be told that JESUS is the ONLY way to get to heaven, then don't go to this church. If you don't want to hear that the BIBLE is the HOLY SPIRIT GUIDED WRITTEN WORD OF GOD, infallable in its entireity, then don't go to this church. HOWEVER, if you want to hear the TRUTH spoken from the WORD OF GOD, then this is the church for you. If you want to hear the WORD of GOD preached as it should and needs to be preached, then this is the church for you. It would seem that anyone that would write such a negative review of this Church must have been really brought under conviction by the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD when he attended this church. I will pray that the HOLY SPIRIT continues to convict this individual until he repents before GOD and man for the wrong that he has done. Time is short, WE ARE IN THE LAST DAYS. Liberty Faith's fault lies in teachings, its minister, and its congregation. Liberty Faith preaches faith in the vengeful god of the old testament. It is teachings of evil and how the evil will be sent to hell. They even go so far as to pass judgment on others. Though each piece of the Bible is interpreted strictly, judge not lest ye be judged is completely forsaken. The teachings are so old-fashioned that you will feel as if you were a Puritan. Jesus dying on the cross is often brought as a way of inflicting guilt and shame upon someone who is shocked at the negativity of the messages. If you need to go to a church in Norwood, steer clear of this one, unless you are an ultra-conservative, gun-toting, Christian fundamentalist who believes that you yourself are perfect but others must be told the error of their ways.
