I just pulled my son out of college to become a plumber after being charged $397.00 by Lesters Plumbing to fix a faulty kitchen facet handle, replace a toilet seat, and replace two toilet internals. I could have done these myself but after not fixing it for several I suggested my wife call someone to just get it done. Parts $80.00-100 at home depot/Labor $300 for an hour and a half of work. The plumber was paid before I got home or there would have been an adjustment . I have a news flash for anyone reading this. Get an estimate from these guys before you let them in the door. more

Called Lester's on a Thursday afternoon & had everything taken care of the next day. Brandon was very professional, well spoken, knowledgable & well groomed. Our leaky bathtub faucet is all fixed & our cat will be so mad! The price was very good so I asked him to give me a price on replacing an old...n outdoor spigot. Once again the price was right & he was able to crawl to the smallest space under our house & get it replaced that afternoon. I'm very pleased. more

We had an object get flushed down our toilet, clogging it up. The first business we called, a national name, did not service our zip code even though they had a branch less than 5 miles from the home. The second could not get anyone out until the next day. You really cannot go without a toilet that long. I tried the next one, which was Lester's. They had a plumber out here within the same afternoon, took the time to call and let me know when he was on the way as well. When he arrived he went right to work, took care of the problem right away, made sure his work had solved the problem, cleaned up and even took the time to buff out the scratches the auger will always leave on a bowl. The price was the estimate I had been quoted and if, God forbid, we have any more plumbing issues, Lester's will be the first and only place we call. As an owner of investment properties, I have dealt with many contractors. Lester and Brandon have been so great to work with, several times in the past 2 years. In each instance they could have diagnosed a much more serious problem but they took the conservative approach first, to see if the problem was corrected before doing more extensive/expensive measures. Lester's Plumbing was hired for three separate projects. One project did not meet city code according to a Raleigh City Inspector. The second project although it met code, should have been done differently, according to Raleigh City Inspector. Third project was evaluated to have no problems when in fact there are major problems, as evaluated by a trusting plumber. All the work Lester's Plumbing had done at my has had to be redone by a reputable plumber.\r Refused to correct or reimburse, despite the city inspectors report.
