good diner food, good priices more

Been going there for years and the food seems that it's becoming better and better. I feel like I'm back in the sixties where my mom cooked for me. The food and the atmosphere make you feel right at home. Just fantastic. more

They have nice staff,pretty fast service and the portions are great.The place is large so you can enjoy space. I love the chicken salad sandwich's and the FF are tops. Good prices and I can see why they have been here so long.Doing it right! more

Went last night around 6:15 pm, Saturday 10-8-11.\r They put us in the east dining room.\r There was a table of about 6 elderly ladies, obviously all hard of hearing ( AND SO LOUD AND CHATTY) with Brooklyn accents all around.\r \r We asked to eat in the west dining room, but as we walked there, the wait staff called out loud to every employee we passed, "" IT'S TOO NOISY FOR THEM IN THE OTHER ROOM!""\r \r When we were seated, the waitress had a lousy attitude and seemed genuinly annoyed. Don't ask me why since the area she was serving was less than 1/2 full. There was a thunderstorm outside on a Saturday night and not many more people are likey to brave that.\r \r I ordered Athenian chicken with spinach and feta. The chicken was dry and stringy. I ordered mashed potato and escarole with mushrooms as sides. She brought mashed potato slimed with gravy and no warning. I asked for without gravy. It came back ice cold and obviosly INTANT potato. Escarole was greasy and swimming in butter. \r \r Table bread contains no salt. Looks great. Tastes lousy.\r \r ...gotta find another local place to eat that's open late at night. more

Great place. Real diner style, booths, even a happy hour. Really good greek food at good prices. Everything here is big portions and the desserts are awesome.\r Love the sandwiches, breakfast and desserts. Servers are fast and friendly. Always feel like you are getting a good deal. They have specails for lunch and dinnewr daily an dth eplace is always hoppings. Definitely recommend for families as well. more

I live around the area and I kept on hearing about the delicious food that this restaurant has . From it's juicy pork chops ,to it's fisherman's platter... greek authentic dishes and home made pastries., I was very surprised to have a full course meal like that under 15 dollars. Very clean staff and excellent service .. I give it a full ten. Pros: GOOD PARKING, CLEAN RESTAURANT, INEXPENSIVE more
