The Lesnick Optical practice was established in Lincoln Park, MI in 1957 with the mission of providing state of the art eye health care in a caring and comfortable environment. The practice grew from a small office on Fort Street to our present enlarged facility in Southgate. .

**Optometric technicians** work with the doctor in performing many of these tests,along with visual acuity,color vision,depth perception,and blood pressure.
The doctors are **trained and licensed to detect eye disease** and prescribe medications for the eye.
We specialize in removing embedded foreign bodies from the eye,diagnosing and treating red eye problems,eye infections,allergies,dry eyes and all forms of medical eye problems.

**Low vision** is a specialized fi eld of eye card that helps people with reduced vision that is not correctable with normal eyeglasses.
Difficult to fit patients,or patients that have been told that they can not wear contact lenses are often fit successfully with contact lenses. We fit all types of contact lenses and maintain large lens inventories,including disposable,soft toric,bifocal,rigid gas permeable,tinted,and orthokeratology.
