I took my car there when the brakes started feeling ""loose"". They looked at my car for maybe 10 minutes, came in and said they didn't know what was wrong with it... then a different ""techinician"" went to look at it, and came back in with an estimate of $1200, claiming I needed a whole new ABS unit. I explained that my brakes were perfect until the day before, and asked if it was normal for such a problem to occur overnight. They had no explanation, no info, just a piece of paper saying I need to pay $1200. NOT ONLY THAT, but then told me that it could be up to $1000 more becuase ""since not a lot of people still sell the part I need, they can charge however much they want and I will just have to deal with it"". I was stunned, and left with my car to think it over. The only reason I gave them one star was because they did not charge me for the 15 minutes they looked at it. I took it the next day to a family reccommended place""PIKE'S AUTOMOTIVE"" in Burlington. They looked at it for an hour, called me and told me it would be $300 to replace the unit, and would be done that night! What a relief. REC: Need a hole in your tire fixed? Take it to Les Schwab. Otherwise, forget it! Try Pike's Automotive in Burlington!
