Les Schwab Tire Centers

I bought a set of 4 tires - toyo's with a warranty of "for the life of the tire" whatever that means. My car was vibrating pretty bad when i would go over 65 so I took the car there to have the balance checked and they told me that the rear right tire was separating and this was not covered under warranty because the car was out of alignment. I checked with 2 different mechanics who both stated that they couldn't see how an alignment would be the problem. I bought tires from America's tire co (set of 4) at a cheaper price per tired than the used one les shwab was trying to sell me and they said based on the wear the alignment seemed fine. I had an alignment done at Midas to be safe and they confirmed that the alignment was fine and was not the issue for a tire separation.\r \r I'll never do business with these crooks again! more

Les Schwab on East Ave in Chico ca. my car came back w/a flat spot from someone pulling the e brake! really is this how you treat other peoples property. sure your not the one having to pay for a new tire..definatly will not be doing business thru any schwab! more

i was a long time client of les schwab for over 10 years and i had an account of $1500. the corporation just dropped my credit to $110 even after all the money i have spent there. i find that kind of service terrible, they should support their long time customers and show some loyalty. well we saw what happened to circuit city when they turned on their customers. more

I stopped in to see how they do business I needed 2 rear tires because I have a rear wheel drive car and I was given an outrageous quote for tires $200+ for 215 60 15. For used tires I didn't bother to ask about new tires it might be $500 plus tax. Bottom line No Thanks. they should be called expensive schwab. more
