Every time I'm in Wilmington visiting my wife's family, this is a must-stop for breakfast, brunch or lunch. They serve breakfast all day. They usually have a seafood special listed when you come in. Clientele is a cross section of Wilmingtonians. I've seen shrimp-boat fishermen alongside families, motorcyclists, etc. (They have small motorcycle parking lanes near the front door.)\r

Sit at the long counter with about a dozen stools to be up close to the short-order action. Smoking (in the front and at the counter) and non-smoking (in the back) aren't well separated. This is the type of place where you walk in and just grab an open table.\r

The must-try item (in my opinion) is the spicy country sausage. Made locally (Clark's Sausage & Pork, Rocky Point, NC) the spice is just right, and outta site!
Pros: Diner fare, country sausage
