My orthodontic situation was really bad. I had gone to other orthodontists and I was quoted the same price over and over, plus I was told I'd need to go to an outside dental surgeon just to have a tiny metal pin inserted into my jaw at the gum-line. This was gonna cost an extra $800 which sounded completely ridiculous to me. Dr. Leone was able to take care of all of it at no extra charge. They're not out to over-charge you or refer business to their cohorts like some other orthodontists. She and her husband Dr. Vaughn are honest and very good at what they do. They can do a lot more than most orthodontists can and they do a great job at it. Something else that stands out to me is that they're such a Ken and Barbie couple. They're the most attractive orthodontists, not to mention attractive couple, I've ever met. In short, they're the perfect team in so many ways! ;) Be sure to get a consultation from them first! If you’re an adult needing orthodontic care, especially if it’s needed to fix major bite issues, and needed as part of treatment with jaw surgery, Drs. Leone and Vaughn is your answer. I was referred to Leone and Vaughn after spending five years consulting with other orthodontists and dental professionals. After having my wisdom teeth out in 2003, I began to experience pain, and by seeing several medical professionals, I found out that my bite was really out of wack. I had an open bite and my teeth were not touching in the back; biting with my front teeth was not happening. As time went on, my issues with biting and chewing (and pain) continued; not to mention my teeth were getting ruined. I was told early on that in order to fix these issues and live out the rest of my live happy, healthy, and "normal," that I would need to get braces and then have lower jaw surgery. In addition, I was going to need to have four permanent teeth extracted. I was like "no way." So, after spending five years consulting with different orthodontists and other medical professionals, I decided I would consult with one more orthodontist, and make a final decision to move forward with orthodontics and surgery. I was referred to Leone and Vaughn. They took records—photos and x-rays, and said what everyone else said: braces and surgery will fix my problems. But, they said they could do it without any teeth extractions. I finally decided to go for it. This decision did not come easily or lightly. Another detail about Leone and Vaughn that attracted me to them is the fact that about half of their patients are adults, which means they are very familiar with adult issues. I got my braces (clear braces) on in November of 2008, and after four to six months, I had my first consultation with the jaw surgeon, Dr. Douglas Trimble, who works out of Overlake in Bellevue. After meeting with him, he was able to explain my situation to me in relation to the lower jaw surgery, and I was feeling even more comfortable about the process. I had my surgery in June of 2010, and during the time before that a lot of adjustments had to made to my teeth per Dr. Trimble for the surgery. Drs. Leone and Vaughn worked closely with Dr. Trimble to set my teeth up for the lower jaw surgery. I have to admit, my teeth had to look worse before they could look better. Large spaces had to made that I didn’t like, but they told me that’s why I keep my braces on for at least six months after surgery. And it’s true. I had my braces on nine months after the surgery, and Drs. Leone and Vaughn were able to bring those spaces back and make my teeth look even better than they did before I started the process, and this was NOT something I did for cosmetic reasons. Along the way, I always had a lot questions about why this tooth was here, etc., and they were so patient in explaining why they were doing what they were doing. As adults we like know exactly what is happening, and Leone and Vaughn are very good at making you feel comfortable and knowledgeable about the situation. Now, after being complete with my orthodontic care and surgery, I am so very happy with my bite and jaw placement and teeth and smile. I can’t thank the doctors enough for doing such a wonderful job. It was a long road, but I have no regrets, and would refer anyone in my same situation to work with Drs. Leone and Vaughn. more

Drs. Leone and Vaughn are top-notch professionals, to put it succinctly, as is their entire staff. And all of them are the kind of people whom you would love to have for a friend. I had significant jaw and dental issues when I first walked into their office and they used their talents, creativity and expertise to give me a smile that makes me, well, smile. Often. The doctors were, without fail, compassionate and made it a point to keep me informed every step of the way. I also liked the flexibility of being able to choose whether to go to their Queen Anne or Madison Park location, as well as their staying on top of the latest high-tech methods for myriad procedures. But the most important thing they gave me is a beautiful, healthy smile. Occasionally, when I am driving near the office closest to my home, I look over and think, "Gosh, I miss seeing all of my friends there." How many other orthodonists could make a former patient feel that way? The answer is darn few. more

Leone & Vaughn was recommended by my Dentist. I have sleep apnea and needed jaw surgery. My Dentist, Leone & Vaughn and the surgeon worked as a team to move my teeth to prepare for surgery. Then my jaw was moved forward and my teeth straighten to their proper position. All this to relieve my sleep apnea symptoms. Without this great team working together the whole ordeal would have been a nightmare. They have always been very flexible with scheduling which is quite a feat with a busy practice. They are busy for a reason...they are very good. They are very proactive and even surprised us at some of their recommendations. We didn't think our son was in need of orthodontic treatment at an early age but Dr. Leone brought out information from research that helped us make the best decision about proceeding with treatment. My decision to choose Leone and Vaughn over other orthodontists was not simply due to the fact that their work would cost less and take less time, but because the feedback I received during my preliminary meeting with Dr. Vaughn indicated that they were would do a more thorough job. I have not been disappointed. Drs. Leone and Vaughan have taken extra x-rays, identified possible dental problems while working with my dentist, in addition to keeping my progress on schedule. I just got my braces off and I could not be happier with the results!!! At first I hated the fact that I had to get braces, I wanted nothing to do with metal in my mouth or any of other factors that go into the orthodontic process. But immediately after my first visit to Leone and Vaughn I quickly change my mind! I just got my braces off today. I love my smile, my teeth look beautiful! I can't stop smiling. I waited until I was 50 to take care of straightening my teeth, I should have done this years ago. I was referred to Leone & Vaughn (married couple) and feel very pleased with my decision. I initially scheduled a consultation to find out if I wanted to go through with braces or Invisalign. I decided to go with Invisalign and have been pretty happy with the process so far. The price is average in comparison to some of the other consultations I scheduled. The payment plan is very convenient as well. The office staff has always been friendly and helpful whenever I have called or come in for an appt. The office space always appears to be clean and organized. The parking was a bit of a challenge in the Queen Anne location, however the Madison Park location is very convenient. It can be a pain to schedule appointments because they split their time between the two offices. If you prefer once location over the other you may have a harder time trying to get an appt scheduled at your preferred location. This is simply the best example of excellent work, professionalism, and patient oriented practice. Both Drs Leone and Vaughn are exceptionally nice and they created an environment that reflects that. The staff are really gentle and knowledgable of what they're doing on top of being attentive and pleasant. I'm done with treatment and if I had to do this again I would not go anywhere else. I went to Leone and Vaughn based on the recommendations of one of my friends who took her daughter there and thought they were excellent. I have to agree with her! I had always needed to get my teeth straightened but put it off until my adult years. I've always been anxious about people working in my mouth but the doctors and their staff were kind, patient and understanding. I finally found a place that would give me braqces on the back of my teeth. Other orthodontists did n ot even want to give me braces, they said I needed a night guard first. But it was not even a question at Leone and Vaughn's. They are so nice and listen to ALL of my questions/concerns. The entire staff was pleasant. I would recommend everyone to this business. I can't say that getting braces was fun, but everyone worked to make it the best possible experience. Everyone is always courteous, friendly and helpful ? in a sincere way. Leone & Vaughn Orthodontics have been one of the best experiences in my life. Apprehensive at first about getting braces at the age of 26, I was quickly put at ease with their professional and caring demeanor. The staff sympathized with me and reassured me at every opportunity. Their understanding and acceptance about my concerns made me feel much more at ease. Throughout my procedure everything was explained to me and any questions I had were graciously answered. Halfway through my treatment I even moved out of state and the staff at Leone & Vaughn Orthodontics were very accommodating and able to squeeze me into their busy schedule on short notice whenever I found myself coming to the city earlier than I anticipated. This spared me much heartache and was very appreciated. The staff was wonderful, greeting me by first name, the offices were clean and tidy, and the doctors always had the warmest smiles on their faces! I would highly sugest to anyone looking for an orthodontist to go see Dr. Leone and Dr. Vaughn, they are a husband and wife team that are superb. They have two offices, one in Madison Park and another one at the base of Queeen Anne, this makes treatment very convenient. I had braces as a child and now have them as an adult, due partially to a bicycle versus automobile accident. The process has changed dramatically over the years! Leone and Vaughn have, and use all the latest technology which helps me the patient understand the treatment and the time it will take. I would have to say that they are perfectionists! Dr's Leone and Vaughn are very skilled with teeth. I have been miserable with orthodonture before, but they really wanted their paitents to be confortable. I mostly was amazed on how they were on time, if I had an appointment at 4:30, they will not have me waiting in the lobby, their will be a staff member avaliable. I was in braces for a full year and was miserable with my previous ortho. THEN, I decided to take up on several recommendations I received for Drs. Leone and Vaughn, and I seriously wished I had gone with these two to begin with!! Some of the reasons why I think they are the best is because, first and foremost their professionalism and skill for orthodontics. They are truly skilled at what they do. When they look at your teeth on appt day I swear they are analyzing every single tooth. I can practically hear them calculating what the next step should be! Secondly, they will take the time to listen to your concerns and answer your question. I also love how they educate you on the process. Thirdly, everyone in this practice is friendly and takes the time to listen to you. Even though I was a transfer patient I don't regret spending the extra money or taking the time to transfer to Drs. Dr Leone and Dr Vaughn do an amazing job at straigtening your pearly whites and I could not be happier with my new smile.
