I visited Leon-Meyer jewelers to have a neckace shortened. They did a pretty good job, except that they didn't shorten the chain totally evenly on both sides which meant the pendant doesn't lay perfectly centered. It was fine for a pinch, but I'll probably have my usual jeweler re-do it. While I waited for the necklace, I looked at the jewelry in their cases and was not impressed. The prices seemed low, but the product looked very dated. Primarily yellow gold settings were being sold, not much white gold and hardly any platinum. Some nice estate pieces were available and they had many books of additional jewelry that could be purchased on display.
