For those with money... 10/23/2005

This place is not my style- maybe I'm not rich enough. It's pretty small and has upscale stores. Some of them are pretty cool. There's a Restoration Hardware which carries unique household goodies. This mall is also home to Williams-Sonoma, Brookstone, Bombay etc. Those are stores I like but you get the feel of the type of stores they have. The food court does not have the variety I like. There's a pasta place, pizza, japanese and a sandwich shop and not much else as far as quick food. There are a couple of full service restaurants like Big Fish Bistro and TGI Friday's. There is a United Artists theater also but it is small and has limited showings. more

Cinema Review 8/19/2005

The cinema located inside the Marketfair Mall is pretty good. As with any movie theater, popcorn, soda, and candy are overpriced. However, this is a good place to drop off your kids (ones that are old enough to be on their own) while you shop around the mall. There are many screens to show the latest movies with enough space so that screenings aren't too crowded. Seats are pretty good as well. Price is slightly more than the smaller cinemas that I usually go to. more

Editorial
  • In Short
Fall into this all-American clothing store, whose crisp white interior houses a variety of clothing basics, all subtly stylish and classically chic. While once a world of earthen-toned khaki pants and button-downs, today the store has embraced feminine detailing for women, vintage-y T-shirts for guys and a bright color scheme, creating an all-around modern meets classic vibe. Obliging employees are eager to help shoppers build outfits and find clothing to suit each personal preference. Although the moniker is originally derived from the generation gap between young children and adults, branch stores like GapMaternity and BabyGap allow the clothing chain to cater to every age group.
