Lenscrafters - Coral Ridge Mall

I had one of those unwanted experiences today when I went to get into my car to leave the mall after walking 3 miles. I was hot from walking, went out to a hot car and it wouldn't even turn over. Yuck!!!! I went back into the mall and stopped one nice looking man to see if maybe his car was in the vicinity and he could give me a jump start. His car was at the other end of the mall so I walked on down to the pretzel place. The young man working there was the son of a friend so I asked him if he would call mall security which he did right away. The security officer came right away and paged mobile to meet us out my my car. They have a special battery pack so don't have to hook your vehicle up to their car. It only took about 10 minutes altogether and my car took right off. I told the security officer thanks and gave hime a hug. I think that kind of threw him off guard. You should have seen the look on his face. ;-) Then I came home, ran in to call my garage leaving my car running. I can get it in tomorrow morning. Oh well! I took my Zoom Zoom Mazda out on the interstate for about a 25 minute drive and hope it charges enough to start in the morning. Time will tell. more

Having never been a mall person, I have found the Coral Ridge Mall to be very user friendly. I like the brightness of the mall which is due to the skylights. The stores are laid out in such a way that they are easy to navigate. Restrooms are distributed evenly in the mall. The food court offers a good varietly and ample seating . The entertainment opportunites are there for all family members. A free play area with child safe features is there for the younger children. Plenty of parking is available. I have found it a wonderful place for walking with friends. A complete round(including all the store insets, the theater, and around the Merry-go-round is a mile. There are places to sit along the way if you must. All in all the social atmosphere of the mall is A+. more

Now this mall has got to be my all time favorite place to kill a few hours, find the best asiago bread on earth or simply watch ice hockey enthusiasts bat around the puck! This mall opened it's doors in mid July of l998 and in the past 7 years has seen literally millions pf persons come through its doors! Housing over 100 stores and a huge food court, Coralridge Mall is a shoppers delight. Some of the stores found in the mall or on its outskirts are Pier One, Claires, Panerra Bread, JC Penney, Dillards, Barnes and Noble, Foot Locker, Old Navy, FYE music, Hot Topic, Rue 21, and of course Scheels, a huge sports superstore which has every type of fan appareal and accessory you could dream of. This mall is conveniently located just off I-80. With ample parking at just about any time of the year (except for a couple of weeks before Christmas and Black Friday) there is no end to the bargains and merchandise you can find within this mall. If you are coming into town for one reason or another, make Coralridge Mall on the top of your list of places to visit. I promise you won't be sorry....oh, and about the bargains.....they are there....you just have to look! ;-) more
