Broken Glasses, fast service 9/11/2009

My glasses broke a few days ago and I went to lenscrafters for the first time, knowing they were the ones who made glasses so fast. A few good surprises, for one hour service the quality was incredibly good -I was worried the faster it took, that would effect it, but no. Also, professional staff. Knew what they were doing, friendly, etc. Pros: quick, friendly, good quality Cons: long distance for me more

TO AVOID - pressure to sell you what you dont need 8/14/2009

I had the same experience as other reviewers. I came in to have new lenses fitted to my frame. From then on they started their maneuvers to sell me a new frame instead. They claimed it would be 'difficult' to fit new lenses on this frame, the frame might break, etc. They even dragged their technician out of the lab to say that too. They also claimed that my AAA discount would be cut by half if I only got lenses!!! more
