Best

You can't beat a Lenny's sandwich. Their signature sandwiches are to die for but they will make anything to order. The #1 (pastrami and corned beef) is priceless.

Your basic Lenny's 4/18/2012

I've been to a few Lenny's, and this one's similar to the rest. But the problem I've found is that there's not much space to walk/order your food/pay at the registers. It's as if they wanted the customers to shove past each other. There's plenty of seating in the back, but it didn't seem like they clean the tables or floor that frequently. The sandwiches are basic Lenny's sandwiches--nothing different here. But I have to disagree with the other reviewers on the manners and demeanor of the employees. I've only had good experiences with the workers at this particular Lenny's, and they've always been kind (and for me, it's always been less crowded here than the other UWS Lenny's further down). more

Wrong sandwich, wrong attitude 3/3/2009

I was a previous supporter of this UWS deli, but their rude service has finally forced me out. The latest example occurred after ordering lox on a bagel through their website. The order was confused, so we called within 2 minutes of the original order, cancelled the order and requested another delivery. The delivery guy still arrived with the cancelled order so we sent him back. Shortly after, a woman called back from Lenny's telling us that she refused to make another sandwich. Had we known, we would have kept the first order. No sandwich, no service, no business. more

enough is enough 10/18/2006

been going for years, but this place creates more stress than its worth anymore. the food is fine, but being barked at to order it at the correct counter, and moving at their pace makes one forget who the customer is in this joint. Pros: decent food Cons: rude service more

Addictive 3/30/2006

I am addicted to this place. I go here almost three times a day. That's how good it is. Once you start, you could never stop. The meat are juicy and scrumptious. Every bite i take, gosh, i wish it never ends. I definitely recommend #1, #5, and #2. After you take a bite out of these sandwiches, you'll be able to understand what I am talking about!!! LOVE IT! Pros: Delicious, Fresh more

Can the NYPD and FDNY both be wrong? 11/2/2002

It's a deli. Ambience has very little value and one has to expect a good deli will get busy during lunch time. The only issues important for a deli are: quality of food, value, and cleanliness. Lenny's rates high on all three categories. Expect moderate delays during lunch time. Not only does one have to deal with large crowds of NY service people but large amount of phone orders. Pros: food is great, clean Cons: crowded, moderate wait more
